Club Valentine

The amount of fun I had while playing Club Valentine is unreal! This was just such a good time, I ended up getting a bunch of my buddies to play this and they loved it as well. This has a very old-school kind of vibe to the gameplay which I like and a pixel art style that has a ton of charm to it. I knew going in that you play as a waitress in a strip club, but I was very pleasantly surprised about how much fun this game was.

Working For Those Tips

There is not a great deal of story in Club Valentine, but I think that is done on purpose when you think back to classic arcade games like Mappy and the original Mario Bros., they had the bare bones of a story, but it was enough to get you interested. This game has that same kind of storytelling. We play as a cute little waitress called Carol (who is some kind of animal and she is working hard trying to make sure all the patrons at the strip club are having an awesome time.

More Cute Than Sexy

The world that this game is set in is one where anthropomorphic animal characters live so you have a good idea of what each character looks like. The retro pixel arty style is pretty awesome and each character is animated well so they do have a lot of personality. My favorite in Club Valentine has to be the bartender, Geoffrey. The game is played from the 2D perspective and when you get to the lap dancing section, things are made larger and more detailed. While I would class this as a lewd game, it is not XXX like many others are.

Keeping The Customers Happy

The gameplay of Club Valentine is what I like best about the game and it does have a very old-school arcade feel about it. You control Carol and the idea of each level is that you need to give each patron in the strip club a drink. You go to the bartender and he will give you four drinks. You can only carry four drinks at a time. Each person you go to will want a different drink. As you can only carry four drinks at a time, you will have to rush back to the bar to get more. It is fast, frantic, and a great deal of fun. You are playing against the clock so you have to be quick and think about what is the best order to serve the drinks in.

There are obstacles in your way which can make you drop your drinks so you have to watch out for that, although, you can avoid falling if you quickly press the keys in the right order. Speaking of that, if you complete a level properly, you then get to give a customer a lap dance. This is like a rhythm game where you have to press the buttons in the right order to make sure they are having a great time.

Pros:

• There is more strategy here than you would think
• The retro style the game has is very cool
• It is very addictive
• I liked the lap dancing game you would get to do

Cons:

• It may not be XXX enough for some people
• This is an old-school arcade style game and that is not for everybody
