The title of Self-defense Dojo Secret NTR Lesson is kind of hilarious as it is so weird, but weird is the best way to describe what this lewd adventure game is. This is a game that is quite grindy, but it does have some cheats that you can use to make the grind (fishing and mining, I am looking at you!) much more tolerable. I ended up having some fun with the game and I got a kick out of the premise. Plus, if you love chicks getting railed while their boyfriends just pretty much watch and accept it, this is sure to make you smile.

Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy

The story of Self-defense Dojo Secret NTR Lesson has a ton of potential and the idea is pretty solid, Basically, there is this dojo where people go to learn martial arts, but then end up just getting banged in pretty much every way you could imagine. I get the impression that the story is supposed to be weird and kooky, but I think they could have leaned into this a bit more. While it does have NTR in the title, I think that it is more of chicks just getting banged no matter what that some kind of deep NTR kind of thing going on here.

Sim Life

I am really into the presentation of the Self-defense Dojo Secret NTR Lesson. The game as a kind of The Sims 3 look about it. It takes place from a kind of isometric point of view and I liked the way that the characters looked. They have a bit of an anime look about them, but not too much if that makes sense. The lewd content here is awesome, you pretty much get to it right away and it always seems like you are on the cusp of getting the next sex scene and as these sex scenes are tied into the martial arts training, there is just kind of something really cool, unique and fun about it. I have to say, it was the presentation and overall style of the game that kept me interested.

A Whole Lotta Game

I would say that Self-defense Dojo Secret NTR Lesson fits into the lewd adventure game category best. Well lewd adventure game with RPG elements as there is levelling up and stats in the game. You basically move around the map, you need to buy items from the store and there are a whole bunch of mini-games. These mini-games tend to revolve around stopping the mouse at an exact point to execute a hit in a fight or in a training scene or mashing the mouse buttons as fast you as you can. They may not be deep, but I do feel that there is enough variety here to stop things getting super boring. I feel like the developer did a good job of making sure that the player has a lot to do in the game.

Taking The Scenic Route

One of the main issues that you will read people have with Self-defense Dojo Secret NTR Lesson is that the game is very grindy and I am right there with them. There is fishing and mining in the game and this is kind of brutal, but to be fair, you can cheat to make this not as bad. The leveling up is grindy and has you doing the same things over and over again, but my issue is not so much the grinding, but the overall pace of things.

Each day your character wakes up and sits on the bed for like five seconds before you can do anything… why??? This becomes so frustrating after a while, as does stuff like having to watch the player icon move from place to place. The text boxes are slow too, it is like the game moves at a snail's pace just to annoy the player! I can deal with the grinding, but the slow pace of certain aspects is what frustrates me.

Pros:

• I liked how it was themed around martial arts
• They have a lot of mini-games
• The character designs are cool
• I got a kick out of the whole vibe of the game

Cons:

• There are so many moments that take longer than they should
• Many people will be put off by the grind
