Deliverance

Wow, Deliverance is one of the best lewd visual novels that I have played over the last year. I went into this expecting something pretty neat, but it ended up blowing me away and being a game that I went through in just a couple of sittings as I was so into it. If you love your cop/detective style stories in games, you are in for a real treat with this one. It is the kind of story that could have been so generic, but I feel that they managed to pull it off very well.

A Detective Looking For Answers!

In the game, we play as a detective, but the detective we play as in Deliverance is the ultimate detective. He has solved a ton of cases and he has a stellar reputation as being a cop who can get things done. That is until one thing happens that derails his life and now, he is trying to get back on top and figure out if there is something more at play. It is a fantastic mystery story that is very well written and keeps you guessing as you play it.

Not Just About The Chicks

Ok, so I will admit that I was pretty sure the story of Deliverance was basically going to be about a detective trying to solve a crime, all the while banging a bunch of hot chicks… well that is something that does happen here. However, the execution of it is fantastic. You never feel like something is happening just for the sake of it and when a lewd scene does happen, you feel like you earned it.

Vice City

I know at first glance you may take a look at a few of the screenshots and feel that this is a game that is nothing all that special in terms of the way that it looks and I can understand that. However, I found Deliverance to be a very good-looking game. There is a great selection of main female characters in this game and they are all real lookers in their own special way. Seriously there was not one female love interest that I did not find attractive in this game! The sex scenes happen at a decent rate and the ones that you will see are animated and they look great!

Reaching Your Destination

As this is a lewd visual novel, there is not a whole lot to the gameplay. I feel like the developer of Deliverance had a clear vision for the way that they wanted the story to go so the choices you do get to make feel like they are very obvious in the direction you are supposed to go. Hey, that is not a knock on the game at all. When the story is done as well as it is here, I am more than happy to go with the flow and experience it the way the developer intended.

Pros:

• I thought the story of this detective was fantastic
• All of the female characters in this game are easy on the eyes
• I loved how the sex scenes were animated
• It is the kind of game you will want to see the end of

Cons:

• Perhaps there could be a few more meaningful choices
• If cop dramas do not usually do it for you, you may not get into this as much as I did
