Fridas Below the Surface

There is not much to say about Fridas Below the Surface as the game was canned before any major work could be done on it. This is a lewd visual novel that as you can probably guess from the title is a parody of a very popular series of video games. To be honest with you, I actually really like this developer and the way that they are open and upfront with people was pretty cool. I did fumble around with what was available here and I wanted to talk a little bit about it as I am pretty sure I have played like 90 percent of the million other lewd parodies of this game!

A Certain Level Of Transparency

I love to play games and the idea of playing Fridas Below the Surface was what certainly brought to me it, but I have found reading the dev logs that they have put out over the last year or so to be truly fascinating and a great peak behind the curtain of the world of lewd games and game development in general. I truly believe that they went into this with the best of intentions to make a fun lewd Five Nights At Freddys game and reading about how excited they were and how things did not work out was truly fascinating stuff and if you have any interest in how games are made and how they can go wrong, I highly recommend you dive into the development of this game.

You Gotta Pay The Bills Some How!

As I said, Fridas Below the Surface did not end up getting finished and there really is not a great deal when it comes to the story here. However, like the majority of other FNAF sex games, this one has us playing as a new security guard at a pizzeria that has some problems if you know what I am saying. We are not just trying to keep the place safe from people breaking in or causing trouble, we also have some sexy animatronics that can get a little naughty at night. The story never really goes anywhere, but I do feel like they at least had some neat ideas.

Do You See What I See

Even though Fridas Below the Surface had a rather bumpy development cycle to get to what we would have (and what would be all the game would have) I do think that it looked good and they had a solid art style going. The first person point of view as you would expect put you in the heat of the action and I thought that they did a good job of keeping the animatronics looking like they usually do, but sexed up if you know what I am saying. I liked the art style they went for and it would have been cool to see what more they ended up adding had they been able to keep this game going.

Stay Out Of My Office!

At the end of the day, we only ever really got what I would say is best described as a demo. I would say that Fridas Below the Surface is a lewd visual novel that has a bit more “gameplay” to it. This was mainly going to be about experiencing the story of these animatronics in this pizza place. You do have the whole keeping the doors shut to keep them out thing going on. However, from what I experienced, this was way more about experiencing the story than having a bunch of varied gameplay.

Pros:

• It is another lewd FNAF game and that is cool
• I liked the design of the animatronics
• They seemed to have some neat ideas for the story and gameplay
• Reading the dev logs gives a fascinating insight into how games are made

Cons:

• The game is pretty much a very basic demo
• This is 100 percent abandoned and never actually getting made

Fridas Below the Surface is an erotic visual novel that demonstrates the poor organization in running a pizzeria. A children's place with animatronics attracts visitors not because of singing robots at all.

The animatronics, with a slight nod to management, look like very attractive furries. However, this is not the deciding factor when you get a job as a night guard. Lack of money and unemployment led you to the field of unequal battle with overexcited animatronics.
