Goodbye Eternity

Let me start by saying that Goodbye Eternity has some of the best art that I have seen in a lewd game for a very long time. The quality here is truly outstanding and I would say that the game is worth playing for the incredible visuals alone! It is truly something spectacular to see and looks like an anime movie. As far as the lewd sandbox style gameplay goes, it is ok as of me writing this and I think with each update it may get fleshed out a bit more.

Going Back For One More Try

The premise of waking up in a younger body and being able to re-do things is the basic premise of Goodbye Eternity and it is something that I like. Going back to the 90s (including a scene with a Sega Dreamcast) is pretty damn awesome and I thought that what we were going to get was a dude just looking for revenge on those who wronged him, but there is a bit more depth than that here with different characters having their own stories and motivations.

Why Do I Always Have To Repay A Debt?

The one aspect of the story in Goodbye Eternity that I feel is tacked on is the whole debt thing! Your dad was in debt to gangsters and now you need to pay it off. What is it with lewd games and having us inherit debt? It feels like they could have gotten rid of this element of the story and it probably would not have made a difference to be honest with you, the story would have perhaps been better for it.

We have a sandbox style lewd visual novel game in our hands here with Goodbye Eternity. You know the drill here, you click around the screen, go to different areas, talk to people, try to make the right choices, and so on. Even in the unfinished state, there are different routes the story can go. They have tried to make the gameplay a bit deeper with stat points and you having to make money to pay off the debt so I do give them credit for that. There are also these secret “stashes” you have to find, but this requires pretty much clicking every single pixel on the screen! To be fair, for a lewd sandbox game, the actual gameplay is not bad at all.

The Reason We Are All Here

The best thing that Goodbye Eternity has going for it is the amazing art. The first time I saw gameplay of this game, I was in awe and thought that it was some kind of big budget console release! The character designs are fantastic, but so is the whole world, I got such a kick out of all the stuff from nearly 30 years ago in the game! However, the lewd content here is animated and some of the best animated lewd 2D style content that I have seen in a game!

Pros:

• The waking up in a younger body thing is interesting
• This game has some of the best lewd art I have ever seen
• The animation is also amazing
• With just a bit more work, the gameplay could be great too

Cons:

• The story needs to be edited a bit to make it flow better
• The gameplay needs to be refined a tad

While Goodbye Eternity is still being worked on as I write this. What we have here is a game that is showing a ton of promise. It is a lewd game that I think is going to be one of the best of the year when it is finally complete. It is a sandbox adventure game and it manages to keep the player invested in what is going on. Plus, the fact that this is one of the most amazing looking animated style lewd games I have seen does not hurt the appeal of this either!

A Do Over!

One of the things that I do think needs a bit of work is the story. Goodbye Eternity does not have a bad story, but I think the idea and the premise of it are way more interesting than the actual execution. You see, we wake up in our younger body, but with the memories of our older selves. We have the chance to change things that happened to us in the past. I love the idea of this, but the game does kind of fumble it a bit.

Putting Right What Once Went Wrong

Hell yeah, a little Quantum Leap reference there for you fine folks! Goodbye Eternity I think does have a solid idea I am into us getting revenge or looking the other way in situations from our past. However, there is some lame gangster plot that is woven in here and it just kind of ruins the whole sci-fi waking up in the past thing that the story sets up. It is not horrible, but I think the story would have been better if it just focused on what we were doing.

Idol Hands Are The Devil’s Plaything!

One area even in the unfinished version I played that impressed me was the gameplay. This actually has a lot going on and Goodbye Eternity is going to keep you busy for quite a while. It does have that classic lewd sandbox adventure game formula. You need to go to different places, talk to the characters, find out information, and do quests for people. However, you also have to earn money to pay off those gangsters and there are different stat points that you can grind for too. There is also a hidden object element to the gameplay to in the form of these stashes that you can come across.

Back To The 90s!

I was completely blown away by how good Goodbye Eternity looked. This is just an incredible looking lewd game. It has some amazing characters, but it is the backgrounds too that are epic, the whole time period that the game is set in has been captured so well. However, the lewd content that is on offer in this game is some of the best XXX 2D stuff you will ever have the pleasure to see. It is hot and it has some very smooth animation. I am sure more will be added with future updates, but what is here right now is truly amazing stuff!

Pros:

• I liked the sci-fi back in time story being told here
• Even in the unfinished state it is in, the visuals are incredible
• I liked the adventure style gameplay on offer here
• It is one of the best looking 2D lewd games I have seen!

Cons:

• I hope that they do work on the story a bit more
• I am not sure when the next update is expected to drop

Goodbye Eternity is a visual erotic novel about correcting past mistakes in the most unusual and mysterious way of all. The hero has made many mistakes in his life and each one has led him to a lonely and miserable life. One morning the hero wakes up in the past and decides if not to fix the future, at least to have fun with the girls.

Pros of the game:

• You will be able to influence not only the present, but also change the future of the hero of the novel with your choices
• Change the appearance of the heroines with the available author's skins
