When I fired up Harem Residence I was expecting a pretty standard lewd visual novel kind of experience. However, I ended up getting hooked on this, and at about 1 in the morning, I decided the right thing to do was to grab a cup of hot chocolate, my dressing gown and keep on playing the game. That, to me, shows that I am really into a game if I am putting on the dressing gown cause I am cold, but I still want to sit in my game room and play it. This is a lot of fun, and while it does have a lot of hot sex in it, it also has a real charm to it as well.

A Big Inheritance!

The setup of what is going down in Harem Residence sees our beloved grandfather passing away and leaving as a huge ass house. The house is located in another town, and our parents are not able to move to take care of it so that is where we come in. We head to the house to look after it, but this house has a lot of rooms and we are a good guy who likes to help people so we decide that we will offer our rooms to young ladies who need them. Honestly, there is nothing seedy about this. From what I could tell, the MC is actually a nice guy and wants to help people…. He just has the benefit of getting laid a bunch while helping.

Girls, Girls, Girls

If you were rocking out to Motley Crue as you read that, we can be friends. Harem Residence is at its best when you are talking to the many, many ladies that you encounter in this game. I was shocked at the vast number of female characters for us to chat with in this game. You may think that they are as shallow as can be as there are so many of them, but that is not the case. Sure, some ladies are more interesting than others, but for the most part, I felt that the girls all had their own personality, and there were more than a few that I thought were really cool, and I connected with them.

Standing Up For What Is Right

For the most part, I would say that the majority of what you do with Harem Residence is your standard lewd visual novel gameplay. You encounter these girls and you chat with them and get to know them better. You are not just doing this for sex, and trying to be a nice and helpful guy is the order here, and that is what is ultimately going to get you to connect with them on a romantic level. The game is always moving forward, and while there is some clicking around here and there. For the most part, this felt like a very chill and relaxing kind of experience to me, hence the 1 AM hot chocolate and dressing gown combo that I had going on while I played this.

Good Guys Get Good Rewards

Hey, even though there is a bit of a cozy game and nice guy thing going on here with Harem Residence, that does not mean our MC is not getting a whole lot of hot action from these ladies. Something I liked was how there were ladies outside of the house that we could interact with, too. The game in general, has a very anime kind of style to it, and the characters have nice and large facial features and are very impressive. The sex content here is awesome, and it just ramps up and up the more that you play it. A huge ass orgy with all the babes was not the ending I was expecting, but I was very happy it was an option!

Pros:

• I was impressed with the anime style visuals
• The lewd visual novel gameplay is fun

• A couple of translation issues did pop up

Harem Residence is a visual hentai novel where you get to keep your own hotel and take care of the guests in many different ways. After a relative dies, your parents send you to take care of the big house he left behind. By turning the house into a mini-hotel, you decide to have fun as you please.
