Surely by the name of it you can already assume what this game is all about in a second. After all, it’s a pretty common wordplay, especially when you consider Game of Thrones’ first season. And of course, this game is pretty different from Telltale’s Game of Thrones, Game of Whores is obviously an adult parody of the popular series. But while the HBO series already has a lot of sexual scenes, MANITU, the developers of Game of Whores, managed to pull a completely original story involving the characters of the show. So, let’s see what’s up with Game of Whores then.

A new beginning

In Game of Whores you play as the former owner of a brothel, but your business was shot down by the High Septon when they arose to power, as they made such activities sinful and therefore illegal.

But as you're trying to see what to do now that you don't have a job, you run into no other than Daenerys Targaryen, who just lost her army and dragons. Turns out she's just in a big of a problem as you are, but she asks you for help, and to bring her to the former owner of the brothel you used to manage. This way she hopes to find more followers and get people to join her cause, using her body a lot of course.

Things get more complicated

But as you might know, things aren't usually that simple in Game of Thrones, and there's a balance in the search of power throughout the whole series. Not only Daenerys is looking to become the queen, but two other ladies fighting to rule over them all. As you make some progress Sansa Stark and Cersei Lannister will also ask for help. You are supposed to help them out, and even sometimes choose who you'll help more to get more popularity among the common folk

A work in progress

Like many other adult games out there, it is made by a small group of people in an indie game developer company. So it's only natural that they launch the game in parts as they add more content to get feedback from the gamers, and also to show the progress they make. That said, Game of Whores is still an early work in progress, so there's a lot of missing content.

But if you follow their Patreon site you'll get all the recent updates related to progress made in the game.

The game is alright, but it's too soon to say if it's really good. There's a lot of missing content still. One thing to keep in mind is that, while there are a lot of sex scenes and erotic content in the game, it also involves a lot of management gameplay. There are also some elements of point and click, dress-up sim, trainer games, and even RPG elements where you'll be able to level up and earn experience points. All of this over the basic visual novel nature of the game.
