Breeding Farm

Heavily inspired by Breeding Season comes the spiritual successor to this adult monster humping saga, Breeding Farm. This game by Team Bieno aims to offer the game adult themes, core gameplay mechanics and resource management based gameplay along with competent narrative and diverse characters with the hope of these elements coming together to give a final product that is equals parts fun and sexy.

This game plays in part, like Japanese, narrative-driven anime games and on the other hand, has quite close ties to resource management games like Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing. Although the format is so alien that it’s hard to compare those series to this one truthfully.

A Unique brand of Smut

While a lot of these games are completely focused on butts and boobies with little else to offer. This game actually keeps the adult themes contained within a realm of context and believability, if you look outside the fact that there are literal monsters that is. It does this through a range of well-written characters and diolouge to match. Then ties it all together within a universe where all the events and actions within the game work. This is complemented by a rather unique art style that marries off the usual anime style aesthetic and hand-drawn, cartoon-like environments to give an overall art style that is very interesting, vibrant and stands out from the pack.

Slightly unsettling

The central premise of this game revolves around breeding monsters that you grow and develop to then be sold when ready, to be attractions at local brothels. Now I’m not one to condemn one of these titles for being kinky or appealing to lesser accommodated members of the sexual community. However, this game does toe the line between being light hearted and romanticism of the sexual trafficking trade.

More of the same

In a lot of regards, this game is an expansion upon Breeding Season. With a much more slick AI, new monsters, new animations, a new overall plot and side quests. Plus more than enough raunchy distractions to ensure that any potential farming you might get done gets cut short in lieu of a little work under the sheets.

A Polished Game For Dirty Minds

This game finds itself in a genre where thanks to the media being unwilling to touch it, plus with a very dedicated but limited fan base, it can be difficult to create a game worth its stock. Now this game is far from a world beater in the narrative, artistic or gameplay sense. However, each aspect has it’s merits. The art style is unique and quirky, the gameplay is technically sound and has a decent core gameplay loop. Then the narrative is genuinely the standout part of this game which really allows you to connect to the characters and understands the need for tension to be built rather than launching straight into sexual antics.
