What we have with Fall of Eden is a game that is very similar to the Corruption of Champions games that are quite well known. This is a game that is all text-based so you do need a very active imagination in order to get the best of it. Even though it is text-based, this game is very, very dirty so that is something to keep in mind.
The Seals Are Broken
As is the case with any text-based game the game is all about the story and the story on offer here is kind of neat. You create your character and you can be male, female, or even a bit of both! You find a magic stone in this old abandoned house and it opens a gateway to this horrible, nightmare world!
The story of Fall of Eden is decent if you ask me. There is a good goddess called Aria who looks out for you and a demon queen Uru who wants to do unspeakable things to you. You are lost in this strange world and need to survive, find your way home, and hopefully not have a bunch of demons and monsters banging you to death.
The Trials Of An RPG!
While the game is all text-based, it is a fully-fledged RPG in terms of what you can actually do. For example, while you create your character, you also get to add other characters to your troop so you can have a party to lead into battle. There is a decent selection of characters that you can recruit. The world the game is set in is great (well if you have a good imagination) and there is a ton of NPC’s that you can also interact with. In addition to that, you also have enemies that you have to fight and these enemies do not want you dead they want to bang you! That is really the premise of the game, you have to avoid getting banged by monsters. There is a ton of quests in the game and the game is also very good at getting new content added to it.
The visuals of Fall of Eden are what you would expect from a text-based RPG adventure game. It looks very similar to Corruption of Champions, but to be fair I am not sure what exactly you could do differently with a game of this style.
That being said, to get the best out of the world of Eden you really need to have a very active imagination. The game does have some very deep and graphic descriptions of things, but it is your imagination that is needed to bring it all to life.
I thought that the premise of this game was pretty good and I wanted to play enough to find out more about this world. Fall of Eden is a decent text-based RPG and one that if you like this genre I highly recommend that you check out. I get that game such as this are very much an acquired taste, but I do think this is one of the better ones I have come across.
