CUSTOM ORDER MAID 3D2: It's a Night Magic

As far as video game names go, Custom Order Maid 3D2: It's a Night Magic might be one of the weirdest I have come across. This is a XXX visual novel style game with a little bit of rhythm game action sprinkled over it. It was actually the rhythm part that made me interested to check this out as I cannot think of another game in this genre that has incorporated that.

I was not expecting much from the story, but it is not bad at all. The basics are your uncle runs the most awesome “adults” only club in town called, The Empire Club. He has decided to open a new one and he is letting you have it. That is nice of him, isn’t it? Well, Custom Order Maid 3D2: It's a Night Magic has a twist and that twist is this new club is horribly in debt and no as it has been passed onto you, so are you! The premise of the game is you trying to get the club up to a standard where it is making money. Of course, you get to bang your three maid helpers who want to help you out along the way as well.

Smooth Anime Sailing

The visuals in this game are fantastic. They do not just have an “anime” look to them, but they are super slick and smooth and really do make the characters pop. It is not just the characters that I like, which by the way offer you a ton of customization options which I know in games like this a lot of people really do like. There is plenty of ways you can change the look of the girls from the size of the boobs to the clothes they are wearing.

Custom Order Maid 3D2: It's a Night Magic also has some very nice backgrounds. As well as letting you edit your characters, you can also edit rooms as well. The game is not as willing to give you free rein with the room customization as the girls which is a bit of a shame, but you can still put your own stamp on things.

Making Money, Getting Down, And Getting It On!

As this is mainly a visual novel game most of what you will be doing is reading the story. The story is very well written and quite engaging too, I actually liked the three main maids that tried to help me so I always tried to pick the choices that I felt would make them happy not just the ones that would get me laid! You have different choices you can make so you can shape the story in certain directions.

There is also dancing in this game. You can just watch the girls dance if you like or you can get more involved thanks to a mini-game where you have to keep the timing right. It is not the greatest rhythm game in the world, but it works and adds more depth to the gameplay.

Pros:

• The maids are super-hot!
• I liked the way you could customize the girls
• The rhythm mini-game is a nice distraction
• The XXX stuff is great
• Overall, the story is far better than you would think

Cons:

• I wish you had more say in the room customization
• The Steam version does not have the XXX stuff!
