Taffy Tales: Redux - Season 1

I thought that the original release of this game was fantastic, but when I heard about Taffy Tales: Redux - Season 1, I knew this was a game that I simply had to play! As of me writing this, the game is still pretty early in development, and what I was sent is being classed as a demo, but there is still a decent amount to sink your teeth into here, and there are already many high quality XXX scenes that honestly blew me away. If you liked the original release of this, there is no way that you are not going to like this even more, as it looks so much better!

Talking A Walk On The Wild Side!

The premise of the story in Taffy Tales: Redux - Season 1, from what I can remember about the original release, is very similar to the story that it is telling. We play the role of a guy called Paul (or wait, is it Peter?), and we are a bit of a loser, to put it mildly. Well, one day, a doppelganger or some kind of split personality happens to us, and we realize that this crappy little town could be ours for the taking, so we basically start doing whatever the heck we want to try and bang as many chicks as possible. Hey, if a little blackmail or other nefarious ways are required to do this, that is just a small price to pay.

People Make The Town

One thing I do remember from the original release is the vast number of characters that there were, and Taffy Tales: Redux - Season 1 is the same; the developer says that there are 40 characters that you can interact with in this game. There are all kinds of wacky and interesting people in this town, and the few that I got to know in the version of the game I played were pretty wild. This is one of those games where you have to just go along for the ride and see where it takes you. I will say that the fact that we play as a grade A asshole may put some people off, but I think that it is all so over the top that they make it work.

My Time Is Now!

Nope, you have not just fired up WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2007 and are playing as John Cena! What I am talking about here is the gameplay of Taffy Tales: Redux - Season 1. Let me tell you, the fact that the developer puts this game into the lewd visual novel category is doing it a massive disservice. I say that because the game offers a sandbox-style element too. There are many different areas on the map that you can click on and explore, but there is an added element where the time of day comes into play, as well as certain events or people will only show up at a certain time. Again, there is more to be added to the game than I played, but what is here is showing just a ton of promise, and the original release was already fantastic.

Now That Is Attention To Detail

This was already a great-looking game, but Taffy Tales: Redux - Season 1 is up there as the best-looking lewd game that I have seen this year! The character designs in this game are just insane, and if you have a thing for butts, you are really in for a massive treat with this! The characters have more exaggerated proportions, but that fits in with the zany nature of the game really well. The game has this fantastic and very smooth animation that is just so very well done. With so many characters, there are tons of XXX scenes, and even when the characters are not naked, they are wearing tight or very little clothing.

• If you love butts, this is the game for you!
