Love Sucks: Night Two

Love Sucks: Night Two is a lewd game with monster girls. That right there is more than enough to get me to sign up. However, this is actually pretty awesome stuff and it is one of the best monster girl games that I have played so far this year! The first part was great, but part two expands things significantly and it is much less linear than the first night was. However, I will warn you that this is part of a planned trilogy and if night two is anything to go by, we may be waiting for the better part of a year of part three! Hey, I would rather the developer take their time and knock it out of the park than rush it, that is for sure.

The ”Perfect” Double Date

The idea of Love Sucks: Night Two is that we play as a young man who has a hot succubus called Anna interested in him and also a hot vampire called Jan. Let me tell you, this is my idea of a dream situation right here. Now, we want to bang both of them, it is our nature to want this! However, just like that is our nature, it is in these monster girl's natures to want to suck us dry and I am not talking about it in a way that would leave us with a big smile on our face if you get what I am saying. Oh, and there is also a monster hunter called Naomi who is just freaking awesome by the way.

A Night At The Carnival

The setting of Love Sucks: Night Two is a fun date at the carnival, we get to hang out with Anna and Jan all the while trying to get laid and also avoid getting our “essence” sucked! The twist of the game is that we have a little bit of magic of our own and we can use this magic to rewind time. This can allow us to use the things we have learned to try and manipulate or avert certain situations! The first game was much more linear, but here, the story can play out in more ways. Plus, the writing is great, very quirky, fun, and awesome so it is very easy to quickly get invested in the story here.

More Than One Night Can Handle

I love the gameplay of Love Sucks: Night Two! There are many different tasks, objectives, missions, or whatever you want to call them to do. These range from going on the Ferris wheel, playing some carnival games, and having some carnival food. The twist is that you cannot do all of these in one night so that is where the rewinding time mechanic comes into play. I would not say that it is all that difficult as it is more of a trial-and-error system here. However, I did find it a lot of fun making decisions during one night that I knew I could change or even in some way alter something else on a second run. It sounds more complicated than it is, but trust me when I tell you that it is not hard to figure out at all.

Next Level Stuff

Look, I have a massive thing for monster girls and I have played a ton of monster girl games, but Love Sucks: Night Two with its combination of Anna, Jan, and Naomi (ok not technically a monster girl) is one of the best line ups of monster themed babes that I have ever seen in a game! I like how they have these amazing over-the-top bodies with huge boobs and are just perfect in every way! The art here is just superb and the bits of voice acting add a ton to the overall personality of the game. I do wish that this was fully animated, but hey, I will take it as the art is so good! Now if I had to pick between the three chicks, I think that Anna would get my vote, but only just as all three are stunning!

Pros:

• Anna and Jan are super hot monster girls
• Hey, Naomi is also pretty damn hot too
• I got a huge kick out of the very witty and descriptive writing
• The gameplay has more going on than the previous game did

Cons:

• I so wish this was fully animated
• We probably have a very long time to wait until Night Three is ready for release
