Heavy Hearts

Heavy Hearts is a lewd action game that has some fantastic ideas and very high production values kind of style to it all. I actually was given a heads up about this a while back and I finally had the time to give the game a try. From what I understand, the developer is still working on the game, but what is here as I write this is going to basically be what the game is, just more content is going to be added. I wanted to share my thoughts on the game and let you know if I think it is worth playing.

A Warrior Willing To Fight For What Is Right!

The premise of the story in Heavy Hearts is something that I really enjoyed. It has a fantasy setting and in this fantasy world, humans are nearing extinction. Humans are hunted, eaten, used for pleasure and pretty much abused in every way you can imagine. This is where our brave heroine comes into play as she is going to be willing to do whatever it takes and fight her way through anyone who stops her from making sure the human race does not go extinct!

Please Stop Talking

The phrase, “less is more” is something that I wish the developer of Heavy Hearts took “to heart” I say that because the opening of this game overexplains very little detail about the story and how to play the game. Do not get me wrong I hate a “where the hell am I supposed to go” style of game as much as anyone. However, this one has far too much text early on in the game. The writing is not bad to be fair and they have an interesting story with characters that I do like, there is just far too much explaining of every minute little thing. It is like in Mega Man X where it is like you take one step and have to read a text box, take another step, and then another text box pops up!

I Want Style With Substance

With the gameplay of Heavy Hearts, I give the developer a ton of credit as they wanted to make a badass action game, but with porn. The gameplay has you exploring and looking or items and gear so that you can craft better stuff. You get into fights, there are boss battles and some light exploration as well. They have some great systems in place here, but I just feel that they need to add a little bit more substance to the overall gameplay if you get what I am saying. The combat is ok, I found it to be pretty easy to get to grips with and one thing that I really liked about the combat was that your attacks felt like they had some real weight behind them.

Luccia Sure Is Hot

I am a massive fan of what the developer has done with the whole style of Heavy Hearts, Luccia our main character is a thick warrior babe with a massive set of boobs. The gameplay takes place with a pixel art style that I think is very slick and very cool, it has great animation, and the whole game if you took out all of the porn, could easily pass as a high end indie retro inspired action game. The lewd content is done via these very stylish hand drawn looking animated sex scenes, the sex scenes in what I played were few and far between, but there was no questioning the quality of them.

Pros:

• I thought the main character was badass
• I also thought that the main character was super hot!
• The combat system has some real weight and challenge to it
• The potential for this to be great is certainly there

Cons:

• The start of the game has way to much text and overexplaining of things
• There needs to be a bit more substance to the overall gameplay

Heavy Hearts is an erotic action game that puts the mission to save humanity on your fragile shoulders. Humanity is dying out. First, the ambitions of men lured them themselves into incessant wars that wiped out most of the population. Then hostile races stole the women they liked and made them slaves. The human population plummeted. As a knight, it is your duty to remedy the situation. Lucia goes on a hard adventure, rescuing captured girls and restoring the human population.
