Kunoichi Botan is another lewd RPG that is made using RPG Maker. The thing that caught my eye with this game is probably the same thing that caught your eye and that is the super cute and hot main protagonist that is used on all of the promotional material. If you like lewd RPGs, especially ones that are not going to take up too much of your time, this could very well be the game that you are looking for.
I Am Ready To Save My Master
The plot that is happening here is pretty paper-thin, but it gets the job done in my opinion. In Kunoichi Botan, you play as Botan and she is a kunoichi that is still deep in her training and not quite at that elite ninja-level yet. Well, that does not matter. You see in the village that she lives in her master and the leader of the village was on a very special and dangerous mission and now she has not returned.
Even though she has not finished her training, Botan knows that she must set out into the world and find her master and save the day and also find out what this very secret and dangerous mission is!
What Game Will You Play?
Let me start talking about the gameplay by stating that the first time I played this I just jumped into the STEAM version of the game. This is not the 100 percent uncensored version with the hentai that you may be looking for. The game still looks great and I love how there is a nice big portrait of Botan most of the time you play. Still, the game has that look of a game that was made with RPG Maker.
Kunoichi Botan does have a patch that is pretty easy to download and I was pretty shocked at how brutal some of this hentai is! I found Botan to be a very cute and likable character so seeing some of this stuff was a bit shocking for me, so for my personal taste, playing the game without the patch is actually the way to go.
Short, But Cute And Sweet
I was quite surprised at how short a game this was. You can easily plow through this game in around an hour. For some people (especially considering the asking price) the game may feel a bit short for some people. For me, this length was ok, it is the kind of game that is fun while you play it, but I am not sure you will want to jump back in and play it time and time again. The “gimmick” here is that as Botan is a ninja there is an emphasis on stealth here as you sneak around trying to start a combat session without being seen. You do this and it gives you a slight advantage in combat.
Combat in Kunoichi Botan is pretty simple and really it is a game of numbers. They have also put in a couple of very basic mini-games, but they are a nice distraction. Overall, the game may not blow you away in terms of its RPG mechanics, but it does what it sets out to do pretty well.
I think that Kunoichi Botan is a pretty decent little RPG. While there is a pretty brutal patch out there that is most certainly not for the faint of heart. I do feel that the game overall has a bit of charm to it. If you want an RPG that is pretty easy to get into and is not going to take a ton of time or grinding to get through, this is the kind of game you are looking for so give it a try.
- I thought Botan was a cute protagonist
- The sneaking aspect of the game is fun
- Combat is easy to get into
- It does have mini-games
- The story is not bad at all
- Botan is way too cute to have this kind of brutality!
- The bosses can change the game rules on you which is annoying
