Life in Santa County

I will admit that I went into Life in Santa County expecting it to have some kind of Christmas theme. Well, I might not have gotten the Christmas themed lewd game I was looking for, but I ended up sticking around and seeing what this game had to offer. It is your typical lewd sandbox/visual novel kind of game that has some truly gorgeous looking renders and if I am being honest with you, that was what kept me playing the game!

The Luckiest Moron In The World

The one area that Life in Santa County is greatly lacking is the story. The main character is a freaking moron and he has a face that you just want to punch! However, he is the luckiest SOB in the world as he gets drawn into a seedier side of this town, but somehow ends up getting laid all the time! The story just never held my interest and I must admit the further into the game I got the less attention I was paying to it. I think a huge part of the problem is that the MC is just so unlikeable and that is pretty much right from the start.

Plenty To Do

While the story may not have grabbed me I must say that the gameplay in Life in Santa County is far better than I thought it would be. There are plenty of places that you can go and it never seems like it takes too long or is too complicated to get you to the next XXX scene. While I was not a fan of the MC, the rest of the cast are actually not that bad and you always feel like there is someone in some capacity to interact with as you are playing the game.

What We All Come For!

I do have to praise the incredible renders that Life in Santa County has. These character models are awesome and the core trio of the milf mom, the sexy aunt, and the cute sister all have their own personalities and style which makes getting with them even more awesome. I was not just impressed with the way that the game looked as you were playing it. The actual XXX scenes are very well done too and the animation here is great as it does not just look like a 2 second loop over and over again.

Pros:

• The female characters are very easy on the eyes
• It has some fantastic animated lewd scenes for you to enjoy
• There always seems like there is something to do
• I think that apart from the story, the rest of the game is good

Cons:

• I really do hate that moron of a main character
• The story is not good at all and sadly, the story is something that is important in a game like this

I feel like I need to warn you right off the bat that Life In Santa County is not a lewd Christmas game. I thought for sure that it would be, but this is a lewd visual novel game with sandbox elements that has some fantastic visuals and it is honestly not bad at all. It is one of those games where when I was playing it, I kept thinking, just a few more minutes and then I kept on playing as I needed to know what was going to happen next. If you have a thing for hot milfs, I highly suggest that you give this game a closer look as the character renders alone may be enough to keep you interested.

A Hard Guy To Root For

The story of Life In Santa County is not exactly going to win any awards, but I have to say the MC that we play as being quite unlikable did make me want to keep on playing. We start out having an argument with a “friend” this argument is basically about how we find their mom hot and they find our mom hot! Our MC just comes across as a real jerk and I honestly think that they could have done some kind of redemption ark with him and that it was a missed opportunity that they did not.

Play Along Player!

One of the ways that I got intrigued with the story of Life In Santa County was how I thought our MC was going to have a slow burn of being likable and becoming confident. That is not really the case, after the opening part of the game, he goes from a zero to a bunch of hotties wanting to jump his bones. Perhaps it is the fact that the translation is not the best, but the story felt like it was lacking something. However, I felt compelled to keep on playing as I had to know what chick he was going to bed next!

Giving Me A Little Nudge

While I would certainly say that Life In Santa County has sandbox style elements to it, I do feel like it is more walking down the lewd visual novel path as far as the gameplay goes. The reason I say this is because the sandbox stuff is more you just clicking the different areas of the town/house you are in. There is no obnoxious grinding or stuff like that getting in the way here. You have to make key choices and from what I experienced; these choices do have a lot of weight to them. The game also had a neat hint system that did not fully hold your hand, but it was there to give you a little push if you get stuck on what to do next.

My Tap Of Gals!

Does saying gals instead of chicks or babes make me more sophisticated? Anyway, Life In Santa County is a game that basically kept me interested because the collection of ladies such as the mom, the aunt and the sister were all very easy on the eyes. I really like it when a lewd game has some hot milfs that look a little older, but they still have crazy bodies. Even if the story does not grab you, I am sure that the fast pace of the game dishes the XXX content out will keep you wanting to plow through it.

Pros:

• I liked how the game gave you a little nudge in the right direction
• We have an epic collection of hot ladies, especially the milfs
• You do feel like your choices matter as you make them
• It has some awesome XXX scenes that have some high quality animation

Cons:

• The MC is a rather unlikable guy to play as in pretty much every regard
• I think if they worked on the story a bit more or translated it better, it could be really good

It's not so scary with a friend

One fine morning, the protagonist meets his worried friend Ron. Ron has gotten involved in a criminal enterprise and failed. The local drug dealer, Dave, gave Ron an entire bag of drugs and told him to sell it at a local store to a proven customer. On the way to the client, however, Ron throws the bag of goods away, spooked by unsuspecting cops. Now the drug dealer is not happy and is waiting for Ron in his office. The failed dealer asks his friend to go with him and that's how Ron and the main character begin a troubled life in a quiet town.

Love Never Comes Alone

Even criminal masterminds have loved at least once. The protagonist has an unrequited love for his classmate Elena, but he is too afraid of her rejection and for three years he cannot dare to confess it. However, Elena is not the only girl in the whole town, so there are quite a few equally charming ladies to choose from in the novel:

• Rose is the principal of the school. The young, lush principal keeps the whole school in iron gauntlets, but many guys are happy to go to her office every day for brainwashing.
• Camellia, the poor delicate flower of the class, is head over heels in love with a crazy idiot like the main character. Innocent girl in love, don't make her suffer.
• Lauren's new stepmom seems to be too into younger guys. Better not give her any reason to regard the protagonist as an object to satisfy her desires

Work and relationships

All of the gameplay is based on completing missions that Dave gives you. Often these are something illegal, so you must choose the order of action wisely, otherwise, you will be caught by the cops or simple witnesses. The cleanliness of the missions determines the plot and relationships with some of the characters. However, you can't get to the relations by missions alone, so turn on all your eloquence and seduce the best girls in school and town.
