Momoiro Closet

I have to say that Momoiro Closet has one of the most alluring love interests I have ever come across in an XXX visual novel game! I had a fantastic time with this game, it is so popular that it actually got a release on STEAM here in the west, but that version is censored. However, you can download a patch that adds in the XXX content. This is one game where I would actually say that the XXX patch makes a huge difference to the overall experience so make sure you have it before you start this game.

A Secret Otaku!

The story just has a ton of charm to it and I love it. In Momoiro Closet there is only one girl to pursue and she is called Alice. Alice is the daughter of a very well to do politician that wants geek culture such as anime, manga, games, and so on outlawed. She is a very reserved student and tries her best, but deep down she is a massive geek and loves to get her geek on in secret.

The main character in the game, Reiji is the complete opposite. He is a nobody and he embraces all the geeky goodness that Akihabara has to offer. These two go to the same school, but they are not in the same circle. A chance meeting in a geek store, lets them see they do have something in common and that is where the relationship starts.

Sweet Or Spicy

You may think that as there is only one girl in Momoiro Closet that things would be limited, but that is not the case. This is a visual novel game where you make choices and you get to decide what way the story goes. You can go the sweet option where you get to know each other, have a cute teenage romance, and so on and that is great. Or, you can give in to lust and get into all kinds of sexual shenanigans.

While the sex route may be the most obvious one to go. I had a real connection with Alice and thought that making her your “girlfriend” was just as good as having lots of sex with her. The game is not super long, but that is fine by me as both the routes are great and offer far more than many other games that are twice as long cannot match.

Welcome To Akihabara

One of these days I would love to go to Akihabara, it is one of my dream vacation locations and the fact that it serves as the backdrop here in Momoiro Closet is just awesome and a ton of fun. This is a tremendous looking visual novel, the characters have that anime look and they feel like they could be in a high-budget anime movie, that is how well done they are. The sex stuff here is very hot, but as the two characters have such a great connection, it feels “right” as well as just hot.

There is some great Japanese voice acting on offer here too. It really does bring the female characters to life in a great way. The soundtrack is good, but there are only like three songs that seem to repeat over and over again.

Pros:

• Alice is such a wonderful and likable character
• The sex in the game is very hot
• While the sex is great, I loved the connection of the two characters
• There are two different routes to play through
• It has an amazing setting for a visual novel

Cons:

• The songs do repeat quite often
• I need a real Alice in my life!
