Hmm, I kind of want to class My Little Angel as a trainer style of game, but I am not sure if it is best to describe this as just a lewd visual novel. I know, we will figure this thing out together! I recently played through this game and had a pretty fun time with it. I am going to share my thoughts about the game with you today and by the time we get to the end of this review, I will have decided if this is a trainer game or just a visual novel!

My Lucky Day

The translation in My Little Angel is not the best so I will admit that I did have a little bit of trouble trying to exactly follow what was going on here. What I can tell you is that we are a dude that loves to have a good time and we are given this very cute and angelic girl to look after and train in the ways of pleasure. I like the whole heaven and hell thing that is going on here and while it may have been a bit hard to follow, I still got a kick out of the premise.

Staying On The Straight And Narrow

One thing I will say about the plot of My Little Angel is that it is pretty easy to get through. Not just because this is a rather short game, but because the story does not seem to want to deviate off the main path all that much. To be fair, I did not have a problem with this, however, those of you that like your lewd stories to have a bit more meat on the bone in regard to having many different branching paths may not get as much out of this game as I did.

Did You Use To Work For Disney?

Before I talk about the gameplay on offer in My Little Angel, I have to talk about the presentation. This is a truly gorgeous looking lewd game with hand drawn animated style characters and sex scenes that look fantastic! The animation here is rather basic, but I felt that it worked very well. There is also an impressive number of lewd scenes in the game and they tend to be given to you at a pretty rapid rate which was something I was very happy about.

So, What Is This?

If you were to watch a gameplay video of My Little Angel and see that there are branching paths, different locations, stats, and so on, you would probably think that this is your typical lewd sandbox and trainer style of game. While those elements are certainly here, you do not have any direct control over them. The stats for example, just change as you work your way through the story, there are no side missions, extra stuff, or anything like that. For the most part, it plays much more like a lewd visual novel than a typical trainer game.

I like what they have done here with My Little Angel. I think that if you come into this with the mindset that it is more of a lewd visual novel game than a lewd trainer game, you will have a much better time with it. The story has a good premise, but it is that amazing artwork that made me want to keep on playing the game and even jump in for a second play through if I am being honest with you.
