Man, Once a Porn a Time had all the makings for a game that was going to be a 9/10 game! A fun take on some classic Disney and fairytale stories that has some excellent hand drawn style visuals. I was all like “sign me up”, but if you have read anything about this game, you will see that it has a real mixed reception and I would have to say that I am probably in the middle. I think that there are some great ideas here, but the execution can leave a lot to be desired.

A Fairy, A Princess, And An Evil Queen

The whole premise of Once a Porn a Time is something that I thought was a ton of fun. We are delivering a fairy and we somehow get mixed up in this epic fantasy world that features all kinds of smoking hot versions of babes such as Anna, Snow White, The Evil Queen, and more. We even get to play around with our little Tinkerbell looking fairy to make her look just the way we want. The story is not taking itself too seriously at all and I did get a kick out of it.

Is The Juice Worth The Squeeze?

Full disclosure here people, what kept me playing Once a Porn a Time was that I saw some previews of the awesome lewd content that the game has. Snow White and the Evil Queen getting it on? Sign me up! There are all kinds of great sex scenes and the fact that the art style is hand drawn gives it a kind of sexy Disney vibe which is a lot of fun. Of course, some people might not be cool with seeing the likes of Anna from Frozen being corrupted, but each to their own. I thought it was pretty fun and it has been a while since I have played a porn parody game like this one. As I said, the great art is what really drove me to keep on playing the game, but that brings me to where the game falls down!

Give Me A Break!!!

Look, grinding is a thing in most lewd games that I play, I get it and can deal with it. Once a Porn a Time thanks to its great art and awesome lewd content is a game where I would be willing to roll up my sleeves and do some grinding, but this game is taking it too far. Developers have to make money I get that, but there is a fair bit of content here that is hidden behind a Patreon subscription. Plus, everything in the game revolves around money, you want things to move faster, spend money. The amount of griding and time that it takes to get that first awesome bit of lewd art is just way too much. It is great how the characters look sexy even when clothed, but that is probably not going to be enough for most people.

I came into Once a Porn a Time this thinking it was going to be a 9/10 game and, in all honesty, had it not been for the extreme grind of it, I probably would have. I loved the concept that the game had and the story has a lot of charm and certainly got more than a few chuckles out of me. However, I think that what it expects from the player is just too much and it ended up turning me off from it which is a real shame as I would love to have seen all the lewd content the game had to offer. I would still recommend that you give it a try as you might be better equipped to deal with the grind than I was!
