One: Kagayaku Kisetsu e is a story about the complicated school life of Japanese teenagers whose gameplay is based on text reading and a choice system. Unique characters, excellent text style, romance, and psychology in the story-these chips have made the game rapidly gain popularity in Japan.

Settings and gameplay

• Kohei Orihara is the main character, a sophomore in high school. His parents and younger sister are deceased. Kohei lives with his aunt, who doesn't have a minute of free time - the woman is always at work. Kohei does not take his classes seriously. Eccentricity, love of danger, and loneliness are three words that characterize Kohei. The young man is caring and kind to others
• Mizuka Nagamori. A childhood friend and classmate of Kohei's. Mizuka is an unlovable girl who only wants what's best for the protagonist. She comes to wake up Kohei every morning because the boy is skipping school. Mizuki is a cat lover and rescues abandoned animals.
• Nanase Rumi. Mizuki and Kohei's classmate. Copies the style of the girls from Otome. Her mischievous nature drives many people crazy.
• Mayu Shiina. The player will never know her age. Becomes Kohei's girlfriend after burying a dead pet ferret. She has tantrums and often refuses to go to school.
• Misaki Kawana. A high school student who lost her sight in an accident, but is so cheerful and mischievous that she doesn't feel it. Modest in appearance, but quite sociable if she knows the person well
