The Pilgrimage

The Pilgrimage is a lewd adventure style game that has a lot going for it. I will warn you upfront that if you are not into chicks getting banged by monsters, aliens, and even weird dog looking things, you may want to give this a miss. However, if a well made and fun sci-fi lewd adventure is what you are looking to go on, keep on reading as this was a fun time, even if the translation in places was a tad on the rough side.

Space Quest

I know that I took a jab at the translation of The Pilgrimage in the intro, but to be fair it is not hard to follow the story here. We play as a space marine, warrior, soldier, or whatever you want to call her and she is on a ship making her way to another planet. Of course, nothing is going to go right for her and before she knows it, she is in some real danger as there are monstrous creatures roaming all over the ship!

Let’s Do The Time Warp Again!

Ok, I was going to explain why that reference would fit, but it would take me a whole paragraph to do so, but trust me, it fits! Anyway, a huge reason as to why I liked the story of The Pilgrimage was that it not only gives you many different choices to make as you progress through the game. The choices can feel like they can alter things quite drastically. I played through the game twice and purposefully picked very different choices and came across many different scenes.

Pointing And Clicking Your Way Through Space!

I was tempted to call The Pilgrimage a lewd sandbox game in the intro and while I guess I could certainly see why someone would put this into that category. I feel that it has more in common with an old-school point and click adventure game. You have to click on the parts of the ship you want to go to, you need to click on objects to examine them, use items with them, and so on and there is even combat. When a combat screen appears, you can pick to use an attack or you can try and run away. The gameplay is something I found to be quite fun and deeper than what you usually get in a game like this.

Monster Things Using Their Big Monster Things!

Before I get to the lewd content in The Pilgrimage, let me start by saying that I like the overall sci-fi style of the game. Our main character is cute enough and I like how she looks in that tight spacesuit! However, the sex scenes in the game, which are animated are her getting banged every which way she can by these grotesque monster looking creatures. From weird dogs, to orc looking things to slimy things! This kind of thing does nothing to get me going, but I can at least appreciate how well done it is.

Pros:

• This is great if you like sci-fi
• The main character is very sexy
• If you enjoy monsters banging chicks, you will get a huge kick out of this
• The gameplay was something I really enjoyed

Cons:

• The monster XXX content does nothing for me at all
• Some folks may not like the point and click style gameplay on offer here
