Almost Dead is a visual interactive novel by indie solo-patreon developer BadMustard, where the main character is a guy who has come out of a terrible condition, who due to amnesia can't remember anything, but tries to seduce all the women around him. Help the character figure out who to trust, who to build relationships with, and how to live life to the fullest.

Scary Place

The intensive care room in the hospital is a scary place. The protagonist of the short story Almost Dead wakes up after being seriously shaken in a treatment room. The disease practically dragged him to his grave, but his phenomenally strong body protected his life and the man remained in this world.

Rising from the Dead

The first thing Nicholas saw (the player can assign any name to the main character) was a crowd of beauties in white coats. The doctors looked at him with surprised eyes and could not believe that the patient had come back to life. Nicholas was hooked up to several machines, but then they disconnected him and his body was able to support itself. The negative effect of what happened was a lack of memory. Of course, Nicholas recognized faces, however, he could not remember anything sensible about the people who were standing there looking at him.

Confusion of testimony

Everyone who came in said different things. These words contradicted each other. It was as if people were turning Nicholas against certain people. The wit of the protagonist suggested: he had a long way to go before the amnesia problem would be overcome. Confused by various interpretations of his past, the protagonist sets out for the big life.

A Life of Abundance

Outside the walls of the hospital, Nicholas is doing remarkably well:

• A nice house full of potted plants
• A bank account like Scrooge McDuck
• Lots of friends and acquaintances
• A lot of good-looking girls hanging around

Lots of questions

The player must help the main character unravel the mysterious tangle that emerged after amnesia. How did Nicholas get into a painful state in the first place? With whom should one share a bed and spend hot nights? Who can you lend money to and who can't? What do you do when you don't trust a particular person? How do you live a high, intimate life?

Gameplay

Almost Dead is a basic visual novel where the player will be able to influence the story by making choices at important plot junctions. There are small interactive elements: moving around the location and searching for items. During erotic moments, the player will be able to enjoy animation.
