Altered Destiny

While Altered Destiny still has a fair ways to go before it is complete, I have played all that there is to play in the game so far and was so impressed, that I wanted to get my thoughts on the game out there. It is my understanding that this links to another game, but trust me when I tell you that you can come into this completely blind and not have any trouble getting to grips with what is going on and what the deal with the characters is.

The Artifact, Not Pick Of Destiny!

How about a little Tenacious D reference to kick this Altered Destiny review off? The premise of the story is pretty cool. There is this ancient artifact that reveals a cataclysmic event is coming and somehow we are able to travel between the past and the present as we try to stop this world ending event from taking place. I would say that the story is mostly sci-fi, but the whole mystery element that it has does keep you on your toes and I was very invested in what I was exposed to and am excited to see where the developer is going to take this.

Two Heads Are Better Than One

The best time travelling duo in history is Bill and Ted, but in Altered Destiny we have the MC that we play as and his best friend, the sexy Kimberly. Now, the characters that you meet in the past and the present are interesting and well written for the most part, but our two lead characters are kind of unlikable! Kimberly is a real bitch and a complete moron and I think that most of the problems our main character has could be lessened if we were to just kick Kimberly to the curb! To be fair, the story is not yet complete so there could be a big turn around here that has Kim win me over so I guess I may be being a tad too harsh.

A Fortune Teller To Keep You On Track!

I guess as we are like half way through this Altered Destiny review, I probably should have told you by now that this is a lewd sandbox game. We have a fairly large map to click around with many different areas that we have to explore and figure out. There are also many different characters that we will be interacting with and getting to know too! This game could be a nightmare to navigate, but there is a fortune teller character that keeps you on track with a little nudge in the right direction so things never get frustrating. The gameplay is fun, you have some visual novel style decisions to make, items to find, and little timing based mini-games that all add up to keep things interesting.

A Helping Hand!

I love the realistic style that the visuals of Altered Destiny has. The female character models look real, but also look smoking hot too. There is a decent amount of animation here and it has some of the hottest hand job scenes that I have seen in a lewd game in quite some time. The game can go a while without giving you any XXX content, but rather than seeing that as a negative, for me, it made the stuff that I did get seem even hotter as I felt like I really earned it. Also, I have to say that going between the two different time periods was fun and the developer did a good job of making you feel like you were in different time periods.

Pros:

• I liked the time travel story
• You meet some interesting characters
• The writing so far is good and has me invested
• There are some super hot hand job scenes in this game!

Cons:

• Kimberly is not a very likable character at the moment
• I am not sure when we can expect the next chapter

Altered Destiny is a visual novel in which a love story is firmly connected to reincarnation, time travel, and an all-encompassing disaster.

Plot

You get the role of a guy who accidentally finds a magical artifact. He shares his discovery with a childhood friend named Kimberly. She in turn confesses that she came to Earth from the future to prevent a terrible catastrophe. In the alternate past, the planet died because you became lovers. But you always dreamed of getting the sexy beauty Kimberly into bed... Will the player be able to curb his lust, thus saving all humanity from destruction?

Gameplay

Classic text novel gameplay awaits you - communicate and make decisions that will lead to one of the alternate endings. The developers from ICCreations have divided the storyline into two parts, in which time flows in parallel and between which you can switch at any moment.

Pros:

• Unconventional narrative structure
• Realistic volumetric graphics
• Built-in mini-games on the console (e.g., boxing between girls in their underwear)
• Lots of characters with different character types

Cons:

• Virtually no animations
• You can get lost in the intricacies of the thesis
• The resolution of the files is not very high
