Beat Angel Escalayer

Woo hoo, today we are checking out Beat Angel Escalayer. It is worth noting that the original version of this game was released all the way back in 2002. However, it was re-released a few years back with ReBoot added to the title, but from what I can tell apart from giving the graphics a coating of HD paint, not much if anything was actually changed to the game, although do not quote me on that one as it has been a very long time since I played the original.

The Girl Of My Dreams

What I liked about the story in Beat Angel Escalayer was the sci-fi vibe that it offered. Kyouchi is your pretty average everyday kind of high-school dude. He is trying his best to get some kind of thing going with his friend Sayuka, but she is not playing along and acts like she does not know who he is.

Well, one day it all goes to hell as the Dai-Lust and intergalactic organization that wants Earth invades! Worried about Sayuka he follows her only to find her pleasuring herself before transforming into the hero Escalayer and disposing of the threat, but this was just the first wave and she will have to make sure her Dynamic Ba Dump Dynamo is powered up so she is ready for the next fight. How does she do that? Come on, you know how!

Come On Lucky Seven

I found the gameplay of Beat Angel Escalayer to be very engaging and addictive. Much of the game is a visual novel type experience. You will read the story and follow along with what is happening and you will then get to make various choices of what is said or what is done next. I felt that there was a solid mix of choices that felt like they had some real weight to the story and others that did not.

In addition to this, you also have a leveling up and battle system at play. The battles look great and these are done in a number generator kind of way. So apart from clicking, you do not actually have to do anything. Well, I would advise clicking and then praying to some kind of deity be it Buddha, SpongeBob, or whoever to get the number you need.

That HD Gleam

I have to say that even the base game of Beat Angel Escalayer holds up very well as far as the visuals go. This was a great looking game back then and it was one of the first anime-inspired XXX games that I had the pleasure to play. The Reboot version does look sharper and to be honest with you it is probably a heck of a lot easier to track that version of the game down.

There is an absolute ton of XXX content in this game. It will take you more than one play-through to see it all that is for sure. You can check it out once you have unlocked it which is always a nice touch.

Pros:

• It has some awesome characters
• The premise is really cool
• I liked the variety of decisions I had to make during the game
• The battles are easy to figure out
• You can view the CGs as you unlock them

Cons:

• It can be hard to find the original version of the game
• The randomness of the battles can sometimes lead to a bit of frustration
