DANGO!

DANGO! Is a casual puzzle game where you must draw lines to both stop balls from falling and guide water into a cup at the same time. The game offers 60 levels of gradually increasing challenges to keep you entertained. As an added bonus, every time you pass a level you’ll unlock a beautiful anime graphic in the collection. This game isn’t quite out yet. It is scheduled to unlock on Steam July 15th. The developer has a similar game out already that released in March, with the same idea of selling sexy anime girls tied to a game.

Sexual Content

This game includes Hentai materials, which means it is not appropriate for minors, and not safe to play at work. The artwork you are unlocking including sexually explicit material. Once you’ve passed all 60 levels you get full access to the gallery of sexy images.

So-So Audio

The game claims to have “incredible sound” but the demo suggests otherwise. When drawing, it’s the same repetitive scratching noise over and over again. While they may have other sounds besides the flow of water and the scratching of the pen, these were not available in the demo. Even Water Sort Puzzle, a very similar game but without the anime girls, has better water graphics despite the simplicity of the drawings.

On the same note, while the anime girls are very well drawn, the water is very disappointing. It looks like something drawn in Paint, rather than actual water.

Physics Based

Despite the cartoonish drawing style of the water, the game itself does have some interesting aspects to it. The line will drop and settle as if it obeys the laws of gravity. This means that you need to have a care to draw the line so there is a tip to push against the ground, or it might not end the way you wanted it to.

You can also hang your line off of the platforms if it’s not practical to reach the ground. The game is fairly generous about what counts as water hitting the cup, but there’s nothing shown as to what happens if you miss.

100 achievements

On top of 60 levels, there’s also achievements you can earn. There’s 100 of these, and each one gets a cute anime girl’s face as a reward. It’s not known at this time what you can do to unlock these achievements, but it likely involves things like making a perfect score or finishing all the levels.
