Dark Land Chronicle: The Fallen Elf

I recently (well recently as of writing) got the chance to spend some quality time with Dark Land Chronicle: The Fallen Elf, all be it a very early build of the game. This is a lewd action RPG and a game that I am so very excited about. This is one of those lewd games where everyone needs to take notice as it is not just another lewd visual novel (no hate, I love them) or some kind of sandbox experience! The developer here has some really ambitious plans and I am excited to see what the next update brings.

Humans Causing Trouble

The intro story for Dark Land Chronicle: The Fallen Elf is fantastic and like something from a higher end indie game! The basics of this fantasy world are that there was a land where elves lived peacefully and happily, but one day the humans came and in typical human fashion. They wanted everything for themselves and decided to wage war on the elves! The elves were defeated and the last few remaining female elves retreated to the woods to try and survive and live.

One Lone Elf

The thing is, Dark Land Chronicle: The Fallen Elf is not exactly a happy go lucky kind of story as because of what happened. The woods where the female elves have run to are dying and this leads to one brave elf (our protagonist) to embark on an epic quest to try and find a new home and resources so that her kind will not perish. We do not get much more than the starting cut scene with the version of the game that I played. However, I do feel that this is a great start and I am legit interested to see where they are going to go with this story. From what I have seen, it feels like we can kind of go a noble hero route or have her be corrupted so it will be neat to see what they do with this concept.

Those Are Some Good Bones

As I write this, Dark Land Chronicle: The Fallen Elf does not have a ton of content and the game is very early in development so I did have a few technical issues. The game is an isometric action RPG where you explore the land, get into fights, find items, resources, and new gear, and try to get stronger. So far there are only a few quests for you to do, but I kept getting stuck on this fight with a cyclops type creature that would cause my game to freeze. While I was only able to experience a little bit of what the game had to offer, I think in this very early stage, things are looking promising and I also have to say that while there are not a great deal of quests in the version I played, I liked how everything was explained so clearly so you never felt lost.

Hey Sweet Cheeks

I would wager that it will be the visuals that will bring most people into Dark Land Chronicle: The Fallen Elf as that was what sucked me in. The intro cut scene is so well done and looks beautiful and is even voice acted! The main character is very easy on the eyes and I love how you can see her butt peeking out of her clothing. The game has a very interesting color palette that gives it an almost dull look, but it works really well. I only saw a little of the lewd content, but if you are into chicks getting ravaged by monsters, you will get a kick out of this. In this early stage of development, I already think that they have nailed the game as far as the presentation goes.

Pros:

• I liked the main character
• The action RPG gameplay has a lot of potential
• I am really digging the whole vibe the game has

Cons:

• As I write this there is not much content in the game
• I did have some technical issues such as freezing and crashing
