Bioasshard Arena

I love a good lewd parody and as Bioasshard Arena is a lewd parody of a series I am a massive fan of I was so pumped to take a little time to play this one. It was a good friend who suggested this one to me as he knew that it was something I would get a kick out of. To be fair, this is a very ambitious project and I think that the developer has done a great job bringing this vision they have to life. The fact that I made a real effort to have some free time one evening to put this through its paces tells you that it clearly has something that grabbed my attention.

A Rather Interesting Mix There

What made my friend think that I would love Bioasshard Arena is that this is a lewd parody of the Resident Evil games series, hence the play on the word, Biohazard. The developer wears their love for the Resident Evil series well and truly on their sleeve. One of the things that I got a massive kick out of was that I got into reading the notes the developer made about the game and their inspiration for this game comes mainly from Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 2. That is such an interesting mix of two Resident Evil games to take your inspiration from and I love it!

Is This The “P” Virus

Hey, if you like Resident Evil, you will like that. Anyway, Bioasshard Arena tells the story of a virus that has gotten out of a lab and it is now mutating people into monsters. However, rather than the blood lustful creatures of the Biohazard series, these “creatures” are filled with lust and need to get a release! We play as a badass chick, think Jill Valentine and Claire Redfield combined! We are tasked with heading into the area to see what is happening, but we end up in a fight for our own survival. Hey, it works and if you love what this is a parody of, you will like all the little nods and inspirations to that series which are all over this game.

Taking A Hit

This is a 3rd person action game and I think the reason that they say Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 2 are the main inspirations for Bioasshard Arena are quite obvious. Most of the game is more action based, where you fight off hordes of enemies that keep coming your way. The gunplay is solid, but I found that it was much easier to just melee attack them and then kill them when they fall to the ground. There is some exploration and Resident Evil style puzzle solving too where you have to do stuff like find keys and so on. Hey, it does what it does pretty well and I never had any technical issues or anything like that, but at the same time, I do think you pretty much know exactly what you are getting after the first 30 minutes or so as things do not really change.

From The Back

One thing I will say is that the heroine we play as in Bioasshard Arena is not exactly the best looking chick. Thankfully, most of the time we see her from the back and let me tell you, that is a view I am more than cool with. The game has a dark and grimy, Resident Evil look about it which I like. The creature designs are pretty gross, like they have been mutated by the T virus so that is kind of awesome.

The lewd content in the game is well done, but monsters banging a chick is not something that I am into, still, I can appreciate how well done it is. I will say that it did take a while for me to get the first lewd scene, probably the better part of an hour so do not expect this to be throwing sex scenes at you constantly.

Pros:

• The Resident Evil inspiration is awesome and obvious
• I got a kick out of the horror/sci-fi story
• The main character looks great…. From the back
• The 3rd person action gameplay is fun

Cons:

• Sometimes I was not sure what to do to progress
• The chick is not exactly easy on the eyes in the face department

Bioasshard Arena is an erotic third-person horror shooter about an unusual zombie apocalypse, where being a woman is doubly dangerous. You play as a secret service agent sent to the epicenter of an unknown disease. Upon arrival in the area loses contact with the base and the girl has to cope with the invasion of unusual zombies alone. Experiments underground laboratory led to the emergence of a virus that causes mutations of the genitals and complete limitation of consciousness to only lust. How to survive in an area where the agent becomes the main target of the infected?

Pros of the game:

• The atmosphere of the original Resident Evil game is preserved
• Travel through the locations and search for ammunition and improved weapons
