Forbidden Passion

I have to say that Forbidden Passion is a game that made me do a double take. I played it for about an hour and the story was not grabbing me at all, mainly because the main character seemed like a weirdo nutjob (even for a lewd game) however, I read what other people had to say about the game and came to realize this is actually by design. The story is not supposed to make a ton of sense and once I got with that, I got a much better idea and appreciation for what the developer was going for here.

Down With The Sickness

Ok, so while I did eventually “get” the plot of Forbidden Passion I am still not saying that it is amazing. Our main character is a pretty messed up kind of guy and he ends up kicked out of the house, but as luck would have it. He gets the chance to redeem himself and he finds himself at the center of attention of some of the more attractive ladies in his family. The story is super weird, but as the main character is technically “ill” I found that it did make sense… kind of.

Tifa… From Final Fantasy 7???

The best thing by far that Forbidden Passion has going on for it is the amazing renders. These ladies tend to be of a thicker style and that is always something which I like to see. The best-looking lady in the game is Aunt Tina who is clearly modeled on Tifa from Final Fantasy VII, if she is not then it is one hell of a coincidence that is for sure. All of the characters look great in their own way and if you love giant boobs, you will love things even more. The few sex scenes that I came across were not exactly animated all that well, but I think that could be something they could work on with a future update.

Going Along For The Ride

There are five episodes in Forbidden Passion and as this is a visual novel style of game you will be spending most of your game time reading the story. Each episode only has a handful of meaningful choices that you are required to make. The choices you make will earn you favor with a particular lady. For example, when talking to Tina if you accept her challenge, you get a plus one point for Tina. It is the typical way that games like this work. Each chapter has 3 or 4 choices that you get to make so there is not a lot in the way of actual gameplay on offer here.

Pros:

• This game looks great
• There are plenty of ladies to try and hook up with
• Tina is possibly my new waifu!
• Once you get the story, it is actually way better than it has any right to be

Cons:

• If you come into this blind, the story makes no sense and is not very good at all
• There needs to be more animation and a few more choices would not hurt either
