Galactic Pick Up Artist

Today we are taking a little look at Galactic Pick Up Artist which is a pretty recent lewd puzzle game that also has dating sim and visual novel elements in there for good measure. This is a pretty fun game and one that I did enjoy playing through. It has a sci-fi setting which I always like to see in a lewd game. One of the strangest things about this is that in the marketing for it they are saying that the stuff you do in this game can help you in your love life in the real world…. Yeah, I am not so sure about that one if I am being honest with you!

To Go Where No One Has Gone Before

I was kind of surprised by the story that Galactic Pick Up Artist told. The game is not as story driven as I thought it would be. You are the captain of a spacecraft that is on a space expedition and you have a crew that is all female! Of course, you want to find new places to call home and cool stuff in space. However, your ultimate goal is to nail as many of the chicks on your crew as possible.

Things That Make You Say Hmm

The art style they went for here is pretty interesting and kind of a mixed bag. I will say that Galactic Pick Up Artist has some great looking girls that are very easy on the eyes. The girls and the various space locations that you will see are all done in a pretty high quality and I have no complaints about them at all. I think that they set things up very well, but things are not all rosy in every other aspect of the game.

The sex scenes are decent, but they have a lack of quality in comparison to the visual novel elements of the game. They are a bit blurrier and more pixelated and it is very noticeable. Also, the “game” part of this looks like it was made in MS Paint! It is not horrible by any means, but the whole game has a rather uneven look to it all.

Matching The Right Threes

The gameplay of Galactic Pick Up Artist is something that I found to be a lot of fun. The main part of the game is a match three thing, but it is way more strategic than you would think. You have different statuses that you have to raise and each one is linked to a certain icon on the match three board. If you just focus on one, others will suffer, so you have to think about the three you are matching and how that can set you up for another turn later.

Choices In Space Really Do Matter

The visual novel and the dating sim aspect of the game are done very well too. You get various choices to make that improve your relationship with the ladies in Galactic Pick Up Artist.

You also have to decide where the ship will go and this also ties into the relationship with the ladies too! I was very impressed with how there were many different aspects to the gameplay that all added up to making it so you can bang one of the girls.

Pros:

• I thought the setting and dialogue was pretty fun
• The match three aspect of the game is very well done
• Your choices do feel like they matter
• The girls are very cute

Cons:

• Not so sure this will help your love life like they claim!
• The art is a bit uneven
