GENJUTSU GAMBIT: Konoha's Conquest

If you love your anime, GENJUTSU GAMBIT: Konoha's Conquest is a game you need to check out. The game is still being worked on as I write this, but it is showing a great deal of potential. As well as being a fan of the anime this is a lewd parody of, I had also heard that much of the art in the game had been done with the help of AI so I was very curious to see how this would work. I can tell you right off the bat, that if I had not been told this, I would have had zero clue that AI was involved with the art!

I Have Been Here Before!

GENJUTSU GAMBIT: Konoha's Conquest is a lewd parody of the Naruto series. I think to be fair, Naruto has been treated very well when it comes to the lewd parody genre. However, many of them feature a similar story and that is the case here. We play as an MC whose clan was destroyed and after decades of training, we are going to get our revenge by taking all of the hot characters we know and love from the Naruto universe and corrupting them to make them our slaves. Playing as the villain I guess is kind of cool, but I feel like I have done the mind control thing many times before. Still, it is a very good start and I am interested to see where this all goes.

Now This Is How You Do It

Remember in the intro how I said that GENJUTSU GAMBIT: Konoha's Conquest is still being worked on? Well, the developer of this game is taking a rather interesting approach. Rather than just releasing small story updates here and there. They are going to take longer between updates and new chapters, but the aim is they will be much more significant in their size. I actually like this as it gives the game more of an episodic feel to it which I think may help people stay invested during the duration of development.

AI Art

I will not pretend to know for sure just how much of the art in GENJUTSU GAMBIT: Konoha's Conquest was done or aided by AI, but what I can tell you is that this game looks fantastic! The character designs have a very high quality look about them, Sakura with her thick abs may be my favorite XXX incarnation of her! All of the characters have a very slick look about them. It is not just the characters that look great, the various locations in the game also have a very high quality look to them. While I love the way the game looks, I have heard that some people are not keen on this AI art so it is a very subjective thing it seems like.

Going In The Right Direction

As I write this you can play GENJUTSU GAMBIT: Konoha's Conquest for free or you can get the “spicy” version which is the premium version of the game. Either way, we just have a little bit of content here right now, but it does show a lot of promise. It is mainly a lewd visual novel, but there is a bit of exploration thanks to the map system as well.

You even have a “working” mini-game that may not be super deep, but it does add a bit more variety to the game. I think the developer has something here and I would be ok if they kept on this same track and just added more story paths and perhaps one or two more mini-games as the updates come along.

Pros:

• I really liked the AI art
• The story has something interesting about it
• I like the idea of releasing fewer big updates rather than small frequent ones
• If you are a Naruto fan, you will get a kick out of this

Cons:

• You do need to pay for the premium/spicy version to see the true game
• While I liked the art, some people are not keen on AI assisted art
