Goons Raid Her

When I saw what the main character of Goons Raid Her looked like, I knew that this was a game that I had to check out. The fact that the developer of this said that they wanted to make this feel like the classic point and click games of old was something that really clicked with me and made me want to check out the game. I ended up playing through this, enjoying it a ton, and then jumping back in to try and see one of the other endings.

I Want To Raid More Than A Tomb

Look, I will not lie to you. What drew me to Goons Raid Her was the main chick; she is Lara freaking Croft, well, she looks like her. Specifically, the Lara Croft from the recent Tomb Raider games that ended with Shadow of the Tomb Raider. She is a talented archaeologist, and she is trying to find this old artefact, and that is where we come in. She hires us to assist her and help her find it, but we soon discover that there is more at play than we originally thought.

Falling In Love Or Lust?

The quality of the writing in Goons Raid Her is very impressive. I was super happy with the flow of the story, and I felt like there was a good connection with the dude that we played as and the babe who hired us. What is super cool about this is that there are three very distinct routes that you can take things. There is a love route, with a connection that builds more slowly; there is a corruption route, and then there is a mind control one. I did the love one on my first play through and thought it was great, and I am currently at the end of my second one, the more corruption route, and I am very happy with how different it is. I could legit see myself playing through this three times to see it all.

From Sierra

In addition to having a major crush on the modern Lara Croft, another thing that made Goons Raid Her seem very appealing to me was the fact that the developer name-dropped Sierra. I was a big fan of Sierra games back in the 90s; they made the best point and click adventure games around (well, them and Lucas Arts), and this game has many of the elements that made those games so good. There is some fun exploration here and there is a great selection of tricky puzzles that will test your skills, but they are all solvable and never too overly cryptic.

A Tough, But Hot Babe

Looks-wise, Goons Raid Her is awesome. We have our Lara Croft looking babe who is just so much fun to hang around with, and she does not just give it up super easily, but she still is wearing some pretty revealing stuff. The XXX content here feels so great because you truly feel like you have earned it. The dude is a bit funny looking with the way that he walks and his Stevie Wonder sunglasses, but I got a kick out of that. In all, I think that they have made a good-looking game here.

Pros:

• The way this is like a classic 90s Sierra game is cool
• When you get a XXX scene, you feel like you really earned it

Cons:

• You do have to be into point-and-click adventures to appreciate this
• Some may find the love route a little on the slow side
