Sex & Gun VR

What the heck did I just play is what I said when I played what is available of Sex & Gun VR. I do want to start this by letting you know that this is a game that is still in early access. The best thing this game has going for it is the crazy story and its subtitle which I will get to later. I would probably say that what we have here is a game that is one of those so bad it is good kind of things that can be entertaining, but just know what you are getting into before you throw your money down for this.

The Rise of RoboCock

How can you hear a game has a subtitle like The Rise of RoboCock and not want to play it? I found this hilarious and ultimately it was this title that drew me to Sex & Gun VR. Basically, we are a cop and we are tasked with trying to stop a bunch of crimes and there is some kind of big bad or whatever, the thing is, the game is in early access so there is no real payoff here and the game from what I have heard is not likely to be finished so we probably never will find out exactly what the deal with RoboCock is which is a god damn tragedy! I do like how it is not taking itself seriously though and the developer was clearly having a lot of fun here.

Ok, So Sunshine Arizona This Is Not!

This is a VR sex game that is also a VR first person shooter and Sex & Gun VR does not really do any of these things particularly well. It does not flat out suck, but the whole game 100 percent has an “early access” thing going. Let’s start by talking about the first-person shooter gameplay. You have to actually reload your gun which I have done in VR games before and it is always fun, but here it feels rather clunky, you do eventually figure it out, but it is not a smooth experience. The AI ranges from being smart to incredibly dumb, but I do give the game credit for letting you try and tackle a mission in any way you want. Saving hostages can be fun and while the game does feel unfinished, I still was smiling while playing the game for the most part.

I Did It All For The Nookie!

As I write this it is 8:33 AM, is that too early for a Limp Bizkit reference, or is anytime ok for a Limp Bizkit reference? Anyway, now we need to talk about the XXX content and the presentation in general of Sex & Gun VR. Let me tell you, this game is a little on the rough side. From body parts clipping through each other to weird, demonic looking female characters that are supposed to be hot. Much like the gameplay, the visuals of this game have a really unfinished vibe going on. The XXX content is pretty funny, I was banging this chick as my reward, but then a zombie came and I could not get out of her to reload my gun!

Pros:

• I got a real kick out of the whole RoboCock thing
• I like how the game is not taking itself too seriously
• When the gunplay works, it can be exciting and fun
• There is a decent amount of XXX content in the game

Cons:

• This game plays pretty badly and looks very rough
• From what I have heard, the game is abandoned in its early access state
