Such a Sharp Pain

Yikes, Such a Sharp Pain is a game that first of all has a very weird title for a video game. This is a game that is actually pretty hard to track down online with a few sites getting rid of it. I was intrigued by this and wanted to try this out as I love lewd video games, especially lewd visual novels and the title intrigued me so much as I had no idea what it could mean, well turns out it was not something that I was expecting. I need to tell you right off the bat that this game features characters that look way, way too young and that is what turned me off.

The Worst Of The Worst

I have played a ton of lewd visual novel games where you are a scumbag husband or father and Such a Sharp Pain features the worst dad/husband I think I have ever had the displeasure to play as in a game. His wife kicks him out of the house because she finds him in bed with their daughter. Incest is not something that gets me going at the best of times, but this is way too much for me.

It Is All About Family

My god do I wish that this was going to turn into some Fast and Furious type thing! However, Such a Sharp Pain moves along the incest train by having our main character move in with his sister and his niece. Look, you know where this is going a mile away. They try to have some kind of mystery plot about why he has been out of his sister's and niece's life for so long, but I had way too hard a time getting into this story and that is something I think will be the case for a lot of people.

Take A Seat Over There

In what universe does someone who makes a lewd visual novel think having characters that look as young as this is a good idea? A couple of the characters in Such a Sharp Pain look more like they are 14 and it is just creepy as hell and made me not want to play the game! There is no way in hell that anyone actually thinks these chicks look like they are 18! For me, this is the ultimate turn off and I decided that I wanted no part of what this was offering.

There Is Only One Right Choice!

As is the case with other lewd visual novel games, Such a Sharp Pain has you mostly just reading the story and then picking an option. It is a typical lewd visual novel game, but the problem I had was that the chicks looked so young, I just did not care or have any desire to get any further into this as I know this sounds crazy, it just kind of made me feel sick that I played the game for as long as I did. The best choice I made while playing this was shutting it down as soon as I did!

Pros:

• I am sure some people will like the story
• It does try and have a bit of mystery

Cons:

• This game has female characters that look way too young
• As a result of that, the game just has a horribly creepy vibe that I want nothing to do with
