The Symbiant

Visual novels are a wonderful way to enjoy reading. The Symbiant is a boy love story about an alien and a human traveling through space. As galaxies speed past them, their love grow for each other in a heartwarming exploration of sexuality and friendship.

The Symbiant is around 55,000 words in length and has a generous 25 CG scenes. This doesn’t include variations on the same scene, which means there are actually more, but this is the minimum you will see on your first trip through the story.

The developers estimate there is about 6 hours of gameplay available, making it an average length for a visual novel of this type. The game also has a full English voiceover, pleasant artwork, and 2 routes with unique endings.

A Beloved Kickstarter

The Symbiant has already shown it has what it takes to succeed. The game was a successful kickstart campaign that raised almost double the amount of funds needed to complete the game. The popularity for this game is no doubt based on their previous successful game, a similar boy love novel called Synthetic Lover. You can expect the same amazing graphics, quality storyline, and spicy romance from The Symbiant.

Releasing February 2nd

The Symbiant is expected to be released on February 2nd. Both the 18+ uncensored patch and the novel itself has been approved by Steam, which means no delays are expected for the release. Without the 18+ patch, the game is rated 13+. The developers have done a great job of keeping potential players up to date on progress, with a rich selection of sketches, short stories, and actual progress reports to keep players in the loop.

The Story

The story begins on a spaceship. Far into the future, a young man named Danya is facing serious problems. His spaceship is in bad shape, and a poor transport run has left them with nothing in their bank account. The situation seems hopeless, until an incredible deal is dropped in their lap. Simply transport an alien named Brahve and all their problems will be solved. He begins the transport with the help of his companion, but something mysterious happens during the space flight.

Strange sounds are coming from Brahve’s room. Curiosity gets the better of him. What is going on in the beautiful alien’s room? The developers take it a step further and hint that there may be some tentacle scenes in it as well as the standard boy love.

7

This game appears to be fairly average in terms of size but has some great features going for it too. The developers have successfully released a popular visual novel in the past, so there’s every reason to believe this one will be good too. While this is likely to be a simple, short game, it’s probably going to be an enjoyable one. If you are a fan of boy love novels and possibly tentacle sex, this game may well be the one for you.

Pros:

  • Fully voiced visual novel
  • Decent graphics

Cons:

  • Only 2 unique routes

Game Reviews

The Symbiant is a gay anime visual novel where a male human and a green-headed humanoid fall in love. It's the fifth millennium, and same-sex sex still exists! Sex against the backdrop of the Milky Way... The Symbiant is a unique experience.

Story:

  • A human merchant ship has broken down. To fix it, you must befriend an attractive alien.
  • The protagonist keeps an eye on the guest ship
  • At night the player hears strange sounds. It turns out that the humanoid is engaged in a "sweet action." Join in or go to sleep? Could it be a trap?
