Happy Endings

I was kind of blown away by just how many massage games there were, but Happy Endings has a pretty cool hook that I think helps it stand out from the others. This was a fun time, and I would say that it kind of has a bit of a management/tycoon style gameplay, but with a bit of an idle clicker thing going on too. It has some fantastic pixel art, and in all, I found myself having a fun time with this and getting pretty addicted to it for a while.

A Dream Come True

While there may not be a great deal to the story of Happy Endings, and there is not a whole lot of dialogue as you play the game, apart from the ladies you hire and the customers. The premise here is pretty simple. You decide that you are going to open a massage parlor, and you want it to become the very best in the city and, of course, make a whole lot of money in the process. If I am being honest, the story pretty much boils down to us wanting to watch the numbers keep going up, but I would argue that is perhaps what makes this more addictive than you may be expecting.

Keeping The Lights On

If you have played any other kind of massage parlor game or a lewd management game before, Happy Endings is not going to cause you too much of a headache. You basically start out with just the one table, one girl, and go from there. As you make more money, you can get more girls, more rooms, and start to offer more services, which range from the likes of a starter rundown to what the game calls a milky finish. I will leave that one to your imagination. You basically keep on progressing, making as much money as you can, all the while making your business grow. But there is an extra little hook here, and I thought that this was fun.

Do I Smell Bacon?

I will say that Happy Endings is like many other management style games or tycoon games, if you prefer, where you play it to death, get addicted, and then you hit a wall and realize that you have had your fill. That is just the nature of this style of game. But this one did have an extra element to the gameplay loop of making money, offering services, and building your business, and that extra element is the cops! You see, you are not allowed to be running a business like this in the town, and the cops will shut you down in a heartbeat…. If you do not fatten their pocket with a bribe! Keeping an eye on this and making sure you are paying off the cops in a timely manner was a key part of the game and something I thought was very cool.

A Pixel Rub Down

The style of the pixel art in Happy Endings is just a ton of fun. The game has some very nicely detailed sprites, and perhaps even more impressive than that was the smooth animation, although these great visuals come at a cost, as I did find that the more I played the game, the more it stuttered. But when I would shut the game down and fire it back up, the problem would be fixed. The XXX content here is tons of fun, as not only is it pretty hot, but it is also interactive and plays out like a mini-game, which makes it even more fun.

• The element of bribing the cops really clicked with me
• There are some very nice animated sex scenes
• The progression system was kind of addictive

• After a while, you hit a wall and are just done with the game

Happy Endings is a pixel-art adult massage parlor simulator where players take charge of running and expanding a paradise for men. It’s no secret that men prefer massages “with a happy ending,” and that’s the core business concept for your parlor. Beautiful girls greet the guests, and it all really starts with a real massage. But gradually, the girl takes off her dress, then her underwear, and soon she’s touching you with her large bare breasts. The client gets an erection, and from there, your task is to choose the type of sex you want to offer the guest. It could be a blowjob, titfuck, or regular sex in various positions.
