Lost in the World of Succubi

I came across Lost in the World of Succubi by complete accident and I was intrigued as soon as I saw it. I was surprised at how this was recommended to me on a popular video streaming site and I was so interested, that I had to track this thing down and check it out. What we basically have here is a lewd action platformer style of game that deals with anime looking succubi that want to use us for their own sexual needs. It is a hard game to play, but I managed to get through as much as I could and wanted to write a mini review about it.

The Land Of The Rising Sun!

Before we dive into this thing, Lost in the World of Succubi as I write this is all in Japanese. I am not talking about a mixture of Japanese and English, every single part of this game is in Japanese. I was recommended the game via YouTube and by watching others play it, I was able to get through the game and figure out the basics of what to do. That is actually what I would recommend that anyone who is interested in playing the game do.

I Am Sure I Have Seen You Before!

The people who have made Lost in the World of Succubi also made another lewd game that I liked called, Super Mamono Sisters which was also an action platformer and I had a lot of fun with that game. If you have played that, this is right around that same kind of style. Anyway, the reason I bring that game up is because there is so little information about this game that is in English so I think if you enjoyed their other game that does have an English translation, you will probably enjoy this as it is a similar kind of thing from what I experienced.

Something To Do With The Succubi!

As the version of Lost in the World of Succubi I have played was all in Japanese, I have no idea of what was going on in the story. From what I could figure out (and I could be completely wrong here) we play as a young man who finds himself in an eerie place, like a castle and we have to navigate our way through it looking out for the various succubi that call this place home. Now, I am thinking that there could be a twist here where the succubi do not just bang us, we can turn the tables and also use them for our own sexual needs.

We Need More Succubi!

I know that the version of Lost in the World of Succubi I played was not fully complete (well I think that it was not) however, they do have something here as far as the gameplay goes. Our hero moves along quickly and we can break down chests and find stuff like weapons and items to use. I found our character to control really well, the whole game was zippy and responsive and I came across a few different boss battles that required I make use of the roll/dodge mechanic that the game had. I do have to say that I feel like the game needed more enemies. The succubi that are here are awesome, but I feel like there were many parts of the game where it felt like there were several screens with no enemies.

Pros:

• I liked the anime style of the game
• The gameplay is fast paced and fun
• The dodge/roll mechanic adds some depth to the game
• Their other game was fun and this is very similar

Cons:

• The version I played had zero English so I had trouble getting through parts of it
• I have not heard anything in regards to this getting an English translation
