The funny thing about Innocent Grape is that there is a lot of humor in the game, but the subject matter is certainly more on the taboo side, but at the same time it somehow manages to have an SFW mode in it, well as SFW as a lewd visual novel can be.

A Girl Who Knows What She Wants!

The premise of the story is kind of unique in that our main character is a woman called Anne, and Anne is desperate to find a guy who will fully take control and ravage the hell out of her! She is horny, and that is what she wants! This is a twist on the whole timid woman being corrupted and used by a guy. In many ways, this plays like a parody of that, and I found it funny how the guys, for the most part, wanted to respect her and treat her right, which drove her nuts.

I got a huge kick out of the fact that Innocent Grape was clearly a very tongue-in-cheek kind of lewd visual novel, and while the gameplay is pretty typical of what you get from this genre, where you make various choices as the story progresses. One thing that I thought was very cool was that the game is very much a lewd visual novel, but there is a safe-for-work mode here that strips away the more extreme and risqué aspects of the game, and I thought that was a pretty interesting touch.

Crazy, Sexy, Cool!

If you get that reference, you are a fellow 90s lover, and we can hang out anytime. I am a huge fan of what they have done here with the visuals. The game has a kind of Persona 5 Royal look about it, as the characters have this very stylish anime look to them. The XXX content is not as frequent as you may be expecting, but Anne is a total babe, and she is a very fun character with a ton of attitude. If you are someone who enjoys the anime visual style and you like stuff like the Persona series, I am sure you will have fun with the presentation here.
