What I like about Jerez’s Arena 2 is that they took what was good about the first game and made it even better here. To be fair, the first game was decent, but it had this rather brutal grind which is nowhere near as bad here I am pleased to say. This is a fun RPG, trainer style of game, and one that has this rather epic fantasy story that kept me hooked right until the end. I do not think it is the kind of game I would play through again, but it was fun while it lasted.

A Real Coming Together!

The plot of Jerez’s Arena 2 is great, the first game had a good story, but I think this one is even better. The game takes place in a fantasy realm where a woman called Sigrid is training to become a gladiator. What is interesting about this is that she is the daughter of one of the main families of this land and she is doing this behind her family's back. The battle arena is made an even more dangerous place as an evil spy called Cyounichi, is pretending to be a slave trader and he has wormed his way into this battle arena, with people unaware he is from a rival country! Things are made even worse thanks to him bringing Oni assassin, Mikado Koharu along with him!

Many Spinning Plates

I love the story of Jerez’s Arena 2, but this is a game that also has far deeper gameplay than you would think. Working in the battle arena, you have different slaves at your disposal and you need to train them up and make them stronger by sending them out in various quests this will not just improve their stats, but also improve your finances as well. You can learn new battle skills and like the last game, improve your facilities as well and then you can battle in the arena. The battles are far more strategic than you would think as there are lots of things you have to organize, plan, and think about before starting a battle. It does have a bit of a learning curve, but once it all clicks, this is such an addictive experience.

Bringing Me Back Once Again

If you read my review of the first game, what I am about to say here in regard to Jerez’s Arena 2 is going to sound very familiar. I am talking about the presentation and the first game was slick, stylish, and had a kind of fantasy anime thing going on which I loved.

This game is bringing that same style back, but I think with just a little bit more polish and overall style about it. This is a great looking game, with some very smooth looking characters and the whole world that has been created here is one that I like a great deal. I think that the XXX content is epic as well!

I liked the first game, but it had a bit of a pacing issue when it came to the grinding. Jerez’s Arena 2 is not like that, this game has fixed the issues I had with that first game and it is far better for it. I loved the story here and felt that it had characters with clear motivations and desires and I thought that the stakes felt like they were pretty high! Be sure to give this one a try, heck if you missed out on the first, I would recommend by passing that and going straight to this!

Pros:
