Life in high school is always filled with many stories that are forgotten immediately after graduation, but the protagonist of the erotic visual novel Long Story Short wants to tell his story to an unknown girl in an anonymous chat room. The narrative of the game takes place in two time periods at the same time. The protagonist in the present visited anonymous chat rooms and talked to a girl there. It seems the stranger was able to persuade the protagonist to tell a couple of stories from life. Stories of love and high school are always well received by listeners, so the hero began his story in which the player is transported. In the peculiar past of the story, the player can make choices that will change both the relationship with those around him and the ending of the game.

Shuttering and ways to deal with it

Playing computer games and rarely going out is the main character's high school life. However, if the hero doesn't want to change anything about his reclusive lifestyle, his best friend and co-player, Joey, decided to take life into his own hands, lose weight, go to the gym and find a girlfriend. While the hero accomplished missions in the virtual world, Joey accomplished his in the real world. In the end, the friend's new girlfriend decided to do a good deed and introduce her friend to the hero.

A love weirdo

Joey's love life begins with the protagonist's romantic adventures, which mainly revolve around two girls:

• Vanessa is the girlfriend of the protagonist's best friend. Vanessa seems like a faithful girl and tries to please her boyfriend, but seems not at all squeamish about going on dates with a couple of other guys
• Anna is Vanessa's friend and a lonely girl who devotes all her time to studying for admission to a top college. Meeting the main character encourages the girl to get out of the house more and try new things in different interesting areas
