Lust Campus

I was browsing a bunch of lewd games and then Lust Campus smacked me right in the face and take notice! This is a lewd visual novel style of game and it is one that I think many people play because they are drawn in by the very interesting art style that the game has. It is a very unique looking kind of game and it is also a pretty funny story about a girl at university getting a severe sexual awakening.

Welcome To College University

I am not kidding when I tell you that the name of the educational establishment in Lust Campus is College University. I actually laughed out loud when I read that. First of all, it is the worst name for a college ever, but this is also the name of the college from The Regular Show movie so I got a real kick out of that.

Meet Alice

The main character is a smart chick called Alice. She has just started at “College University” and the story of Lust Campus is her trying to decide if she should knuckle down and focus on her studies or if she should just go with the flow, have fun, date guys and fool around and do the whole party college experience. The story is not all that great if you want something deep and meaningful. However, if you want something fun with all the stereotypical college characters from the nerdy shy guy to the buff hot jerk, you will be happy with what this is offering.

Drawing Over A Render

It is very hard to describe the way that Lust Campus looks. It is like they made these 3D renders and then drew over them to give them a more artistic kind of look. I have probably just made you confused, but trust me when I tell you, this is a truly gorgeous looking visual novel. The character still has a realistic look about them and it was really the amazing art that kept me playing until the end. My only complaint about the visuals is that the sex scenes are not animated. To be fair, I am not even sure if that would have been something they could have done with the visual style they went for.

What Would Alice Do?

As Lust Campus is a visual novel, most of what you will be doing in the game is chatting to other people. You get various choices you can make and these will shape the relationships with the various characters in the game. if you like someone, you can be kind and flirt with them. If there is someone you do not like, you can be shyer and kinder of a jerk to them. As far as the visual novel aspect goes, I think what they have done here is pretty damn good.

Pros:

• This has one of the most interesting art styles I have seen in a long time
• Alice is a very interesting character
• I liked the way the game gave you choices to make
• It is a very easy game to get through

Cons:

• I really wish that the sex scenes were animated and not just still images
• Some voice acting would have been a very welcomed addition
