Malicious Reload

I was pretty excited to try out Malicious Reload which is a lewd shooter/action game. I always get a kick out of it when someone makes a lewd game that is not a visual novel. Now, this is a game that is in Japanese, but it is easy enough to work your way through it. If you like shooters and games that have a lot of sexiness going on you need to give this a try. I did and I had a real blast playing through it.

The Village

I get the impression that the Resident Evil series was a massive inspiration for what they have done here with Malicious Reload. The main character is a chick called Lynette and she is part of an elite team that is government run. Even though she is new to the organization she has been tasked with a very important mission. She is being sent to a creepy abandoned village. Another agent, Lloyd went here earlier and he has gone missing. Lynnette needs to try and find Lloyd and figure out what is going on here.

Shoot To Kill!

In Malicious Reload, you control Lynette and the game is a side scrolling action game. She controls pretty well and you have to shoot anything that comes your way. You have a basic pistol that has unlimited ammo and this can hand the majority of basic enemies that come your way. You can pick up more powerful weapons such as this badass shotgun, but they do have limited ammo. You are way better saving these for when you come across more powerful and larger enemies. The game is not exactly deep, but I found it to be a fun experience overall.

That Evil Style Sure Is Resident!

The UI in the game is pretty cool, I get a real Resident Evil vibe from the way the UI on the game screen in Malicious Reload looks. It has a kind of Resident Evil 1 look to it, you know when you have your menu screen open? Lynette manages to look tough and sexy and the pixel art in general for her and the various creatures you come across are done well. Oh, Lynette is also animated really well too. The game does have a lot of XXX content in the form of the game over screens, if you die, you get banged every which way imaginable by the monsters.

I know that there may not exactly be a great deal to the gameplay of Malicious Reload, but I still had a very fun time with it. I liked walking around and shooting various monsters that would dare come my way.

Pros:

• I thought that Lynette was a pretty cool character
• The shooting feels pretty solid
• There are plenty of monsters for you to kill
• There is some pretty nasty XXX content!

Cons:

• There is not exactly a great deal of depth to the game
• It will not take you long to get through
