NinNinDays is a charming erotic visual novel style game that is perfect for those of you looking for something short and sweet. It may not be the longest visual novel that you will play through, but that is actually something I consider a plus. If you are in the mood for a game that is going to make you smile, you have come to the right place.

Clumsy Mikan!

The story of the game has a real charm to it that I had a lot of fun with. The main dude is a pretty average Joe who very rarely is happy or cracks a smile. His life changes when he comes across Mikan Nokana who is a Ninja from a village. She has been sent to the city to hone her ninja skills, but due to a lack of funds, she ends up collapsing and we save her.

NinNinDays is all about her being an honorable ninja so she barges into your house and becomes your live in “guest” that is there to serve you and help you out when you need it. The story is not meant to be taken too seriously and if anything, it has more in common with a light-hearted romantic comedy than anything else.

Moves Like A Ninja

The art in the game is awesome. I really like Mikan as a character and find her whole ditzy, clumsy, and good-intentioned personality very likable. The way she looks is very cute, but she also has a rocking body so she is very easy on the eyes. The whole game is actually and it looks like a manga that has come to life. There is a little bit of animation here and there, but if I am being picky, I do wish that she had a few more standing drawings as these tend to repeat quite a lot. The game has a bit of voice acting and it is all in Japanese. I actually love this as it fits in with her character very well. The music score that the game has is a bit forgettable, but it is not abrasive or anything like that.

Mikan Is Short, But Very Sweet

One of the things I have read a few people complain about with NinNinDays is that the game is too short. You are looking at five hours max to see all that the game has to offer and that includes if you want to see the different paths and endings. I for one feel that the length of the game is fine for the story that they are telling here.

It is worth noting that the XXX stuff that is here does have that Japanese style of censorship. I am not a fan of this and with Mikan being so cute, it does kind of take a little bit of the fun away from seeing her get naughty.

Pros:

• I thought that Mikan was a fantastic character
• Any game with a sexy, but clumsy ninja is cool in my book
• I liked the way that the game looks
• The Japanese voice acting is very fitting
• I liked the fact the game was a bit on the short side

Cons:

• The game is censored
• I can see why some people may not like how short it is
