I play a lot of lewd games and I think that SEX & DRIFT may be the first lewd racing game that I have ever played. This doe not exactly have the best reputation online, but to be honest with you I think a lot of the hate that this game gets is kind of harsh. Is this an amazing lewd game? No, not really. Is this the greatest racing game ever made? Again, no not really. However, I did have some fun with this for a little while and it is worth checking out if you want a lewd game that is different.

Groupies & Bosses!

How the developer was making SEX & DRIFT and never thought to have some kind of cheesy street racer story be at the front of it kind of blows my mind here. We are a street racer and we want to be the best street racer around and also have sex with a bunch of racing groupies as well, that is about as deep as it gets with a story here in this game. I feel like this was a mistake and some kind of story would have tied all the races together, you do race bosses, but there is not much in the way of personality here.

That Speed Sure Is Underground

When you first play SEX & DRIFT, you will probably get vibes from the PlayStation 2 era, Need for Speed games and I mean that as a compliment. You take on a bunch of different races and need to finish as high as you can so that you can get better gear and then move on to the next race. This is 100 percent an arcade style racer and one that is more about driving fast, drifting, and having fun than it is being a sim. I think if you enjoy arcade style racers, you will get a kick out of what is going on here.

From The Shallow End Of The Pool

Look, I will never tell you that what we have here in SEX & DRIFT is the deepest racing game of all time, but I do think that they tried to keep it as interesting as possible. As I said, you do have a series of races that you need to compete in. However, you do also have to race against tougher, boss like opponents that rule the streets. There are also races that put more of an emphasis on drifting as well and thankfully, the drifting is actually very easy to get to grips with.

Taking The Race… & Her From Behind!

The whole package of SEX & DRIFT has a real budget game look about it. The game has a very PlayStation 2 kind of look and the neon and the whole style of the game is very Need for Speed Underground like and that is something I do get a kick out of. The twist here is that this is also a lewd game and as you progress through the game, you can unlock lewd scenes. These lewd scenes are a lot of fun and feature some pretty solid animation and are probably the best looking aspect of the game.

Pros:

• I enjoyed the arcade racing style the game has
• It has some impressive lewd content
• The actual racing and drifting felt good
• I got a kick out of its whole PlayStation 2 kind of style

Cons:

• I wish that there was some kind of cheesy story here
• The game is not going to be something that you are playing six months from now

Is SEX & DRIFT the first lewd racing game? I have been thinking long and hard (that’s what she said) and I really cannot think of another lewd racing game before this. As soon as I saw this, I knew I had to give it a go, plus this is a budget game and you are looking at like only two bucks to add this to your collection. Will I be playing this game a year from now? Probably not, but I can certainly say that I feel like I got my money’s worth out of the game with the time I spent with it.

It's All About Family…. And Getting Laid

One area where I think that they made a mistake with here in SEX & DRIFT is the story. Apart from wanting to be the best street racer and hook up with hot racing groupies, there is no actual story here. This was a real missed opportunity as the game is just crying out for some kind of cheesy action movie, Fast parody kind of story. There are “boss characters” but there is not much that links the whole experience together.

Having The Need, For Speed

Clearly, The Need for Speed franchise is a massive inspiration for what the developer has done here with SEX & DRIFT. The game is very much an arcade style racer and to be fair, the arcade racing feels decent enough. There are specific drift races that you have to do and the drifting to be fair is very easy to figure out.

I never found the game to be all that challenging, to be honest with you, but it was a fun arcade like experience while it lasted. If you have played any kind of arcade racer before, especially those that really shot to prominence on the PS2 and Original Xbox back in the day, you will get a kick out of how this game plays. There are even some car upgrades that you can get in between racing which adds a little bit of depth to the gameplay.

A Ride That’s Smoother Than A Limousine

The presentation of SEX & DRIFT is another area alongside the gameplay where you can tell that the Need for Speed series was an inspiration, especially the more “street” Need for Speed games. It has a rather budget look to it, I think that a somewhat early PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 game is probably the best way to describe the visuals.

However, there are some lewd scenes in the game too and these look pretty damn good. The only thing is, you have to manually go into your gallery to check them out once you unlock them. This ties into what I said about there being a story in the game. I feel if there was a story and that these scenes would play during the story, it would be so much more fun.

Pros:

• This is a decent arcade style racer
• The lewd content is fun and very well done
• It is very easy to get to grips with the handling and drifting of the cars
• There is some serious potential for a sequel here!

Cons:

• The game is a budget title and this is reflected in pretty much every way
• It is just crying out for a story to link it all together!
