Succumate

Succumate is a charming little lewd RPG style game with a sexy succubus and a fun pixel art style that are sure to get their sexy succubus ways into your heart! While I would not say that this is a perfect game, it does have a ton of charm and I enjoyed my time with this immensely, once I put it on easy! That is my advice right off the bat here, do not try and play the game on the normal difficulty setting, the time and money management is way too strict and it gets in the way of the fun, put it on easy and you will have a blast with this!

Who Let You In?

The whole premise of the story that Succumate is telling is a lot of fun. We play as a young average guy who heads home one day to find a sexy and naughty succubus called Lilim hanging out in his apartment! Lilim is from the demon world and she has picked us as her “cow” to get as much of that special male essence as she can. Look, you do not need me to spell it out to you in regards to what she wants from us. While this sounds like a great deal, getting laid from a sexy succubus on the regular! There is an ulterior motive here and if we are not careful, she will suck our soul dry!

There’s A Knock At The Door!

Hey if you get that reference well done! The thing is in Succumate we do have that main story with Lilim wanting to suck us dry, but there is more at play here. The town has seen men mysteriously dying and we think that Lilim could be involved. However, as fun as the main story is, there are many side quests/stories with other women who live in this palace that we get to do as well. These were a lot of fun, like little bite sized stories that never overstayed their welcome. I got a real kick out of these and would have actually liked there to have been more of them.

Time Is Money

While the presentation and the story of Succumate appealed to me right away, I must admit the gameplay at first did not click with me at all. We have to work to earn money so that we can buy this stuff that gives us our “energy” back. There are a few mini-games, but some of the stuff in the game requires a lot of grinding for money or it is very strictly timed based. I found that once I put the game on easy, the grind felt way fairer, and as a result, the game was way more fun. It is a basic lewd RPG that has pretty much what you would expect. I will say that I liked the mini-games as they interrupted the dialogue scenes and stopped me from feeling like I was just doing the same thing over and over again.

Deadly, But Charming

How can you look at a game like Succumate and not smile? This is one of the best looking lewd games that I have ever played! The quality of the art is fantastic, but the very descriptive commentary you get during the sex scenes is awesome and makes them even hotter. The game has this very stylish pixel art look about it that I just love. There are a ton of sex scenes here too and the animation is some of the best I have seen in a lewd game that has pixel art! The visuals alone are more than enough reason to play through this game!

Pros:

• Lilim is one hot and fun succubus
• I thought the story had a lot of charm
• The pixel art in this game is amazing
• The quality of the animation in the sex scenes is amazing

Cons:

• Playing on anything other than easy is more frustrating than fun
• It would have been so awesome if they had voice acting in this game
