Wartribe Academy

Having spent a considerable amount of time with Wartribe Academy I really wanted to share my thoughts on the game. It is a lewd sandbox style of game and one that has a story I really enjoyed. The majority of the game is very good, but there are just a couple of things holding it back that if they fix could easily make this a nine out of ten style of game for me. Anyway, let’s take a closer look at this game and see why I feel you need to check it out.

Love And Marriage!

The whole premise of Wartribe Academy is something that I think is very cool. The main character that we play as is this warrior who is a member of a tribe that is one of the most prestigious and powerful tribes in all the land. So powerful that the other tribes send their most beautiful and prized women to try and win our hand in marriage. There is a pretty neat twist in that one of the places that is sending a girl is the same place that is ultimately responsible for your mother dying years earlier! It makes for a very interesting fantasy/mystery style of story.

Getting To Know You

Most of what you will be doing in Wartribe Academy will be clicking around the map and going to different locations so that you can talk to characters. The girls are all over the place and you get to go and chat with them so you can find out more about them and decide which one (or ones) you want to focus on. The sandbox nature of the game is ok, I do think that the game would be better if it kept you more focused. There were a few times when I clearly spoke to people in the wrong order and it made the story seem a bit jumbled up. I get that they are trying to give us freedom of choice, but I think a better guiding hand would have made this better.

Trying To Be A Good Guy

One of the things that I always like about games like Wartribe Academy is how we can play the main character any way we want. I wanted to be more of a noble leader so I tried to pick the things that I felt were nicer and more honest as I was talking to my potential brides to be. However, you can also play the game as a real jerk and just try and go for a full harem of ladies that you do not care about, but will just satisfy your sexual desires!

A Dragon Wearing A Honey Crown!

What I was going for there was trying to let you know that the visual style Wartribe Academy has is kind of like a blend of Honey Select and Dragon’s Crown and trust me when I tell you, that is a very good thing. I love the whole art style of this game, I am always interested when a lewd game has a fantasy vibe to the visuals and this game is near perfect with it! The amount of lewd content in the game is great and I am very pleased to say that the sex scenes are animated which gives them even more appeal. If you love fantasy stuff, you will really get a kick out of the way this game looks.

Pros:

• The game has a fun fantasy story
• You get to make some important choices
• The selection of ladies in the game is great
• I loved how the sex scenes were animated and the game in general looks great

Cons:

• I did some quests in the wrong order which made the story hard to follow
• As crazy as it sounds, this game would be better if it were more linear

Wartribe Academy is so close to being great! Hey, I am not saying that the game is bad at all, actually far from it, but with just a little more tweaking, I truly do believe that this game could have been something very special indeed. What we have here is a lewd sandbox game and one that has a very interesting premise, some great looking characters, and a lot of content for you to sink your teeth into!

Leading Through Marriage!

In Wartribe Academy, we play as the son of a tribe that is fast becoming one of the most notable tribes in the nation. We are a powerful warrior and many of the cities in this nation are sending one of their prized females to your tribe in order for you to get to know them and pick a bride. That alone is a pretty solid premise, but what really sets this one apart is that your father warns you that one of these girls is from a city that is responsible for your mother’s death.

The Dangers Of The Sandbox!

As I stated in the intro, Wartribe Academy is a sandbox game. I have played many good and many bad ones of these and I would say that this game is much more in the “good” category. To start with, you have a quick travel button which is something that I really like. You need to click around the various areas and find the girls so that you can chat to them, progress the story and get to know them better. I tried to play as a more of a noble and good kind of guy, but you can be a complete asshole if you want. The thing is, the story as good as it is can sometimes feel a bit disjointed if you do not do things the way the game intends and this can be quite jarring. I know we are talking about a sandbox style of game here, but I truly do think it would have been even better if it were a bit more linear and focused on what it lets you do.

Cities Of Babes!

I am a big fan of the visuals in Wartribe Academy. The game is clearly a Honey Select style of game in terms of the character renders, but I consider that a good thing. The selection of love interests is great and there are a few that I thought were absolutely stunning. The game has this medieval/fantasy kind of vibe to it which is something that I really do like. The XXX content in the game is fantastic and I feel that they give you access to it at a pretty fair rate. From what I experienced the choices in the game that you make can lead to different XXX scenes so that is pretty cool.

Pros:

• I enjoyed the premise of the story very much
• You can play the MC in a style that suits you best
• I liked how there was a quick travel button
• You have many different love interests that you can pursue in the game

Cons:

• Sometimes if you do things in the wrong order, the story can be confusing
• It does still have a few of the navigation issues that many lewd sandbox games tend to have
