Animal Cafe

If you enjoy XXX visual novels then Animal Café (as I write this) is one of the most recent ones to be released. This is a game that is made for those of you that are all about that girl on girl action as that is the theme here. It is a very well-done visual novel and while it may be on the short side, it does give you more than enough reasons to jump straight back in to see the story take a different turn.

Animals In The Night

Like most other lewd visual novels, Animal Café is a game that is trying its best to have a compelling story with characters that you actually care about.

The main character in this saga is called Luna. Luna works really hard and each night she gets off work, she heads to this strange and mysterious little café where the ladies who go here like to dress up in sexy animal style outfits. She can try to find that special someone, or she can just try to have some fun if you know what I am saying!

That High-Def Lewdness

I think that the visuals on offer in Animal Café are very well done. There is a decent selection of sexy female characters here and what I like is that they have made them cuter and sexier, rather than just straight up slutty. It is a delicate balance, but one that I feel they pull off very well. As well as the characters looking good, the backgrounds are nicely detailed and quite varied too, I tell you, this café is certainly a place I would like to hang out! There is also a nice selection of high-quality CGs to check out too. My only gripe about the presentation is the text box is a bit basic, but that could be seen as nitpicking to be fair.

Short, But Sexy And Sweet

I will say that Animal Café is a tad on the short side, but I do think that works to the game's advantage. There are different routes that the story can take and there are different endings as well. This gives you plenty of reason to replay the game so while it may not take a while to get through, the replay value does add quite a bit to the game.

The gameplay is that of your typical visual novel where you read the story and then make various choices as it progresses. I do like how there are different save slots so you can work on different paths at the same time if you like.

Pros:

• I really liked Luna as the main character
• The game has some very impressive visuals
• There are different paths and endings
• The game does not overstay its welcome

Cons:

• The text boxes are a bit rough to look at
• Some people may not like how short a playthrough can be
