My New Life: REVAMP

You may think that the title, My New Life sounds familiar and that is because this is a game that was released a few years back. The version I am talking about today is the revamp version which has had a lot of work done to it to make the game better and more polished in pretty much every way. This is a lewd RPG style of game and a game that I had a lot of fun with and a game that is easy to recommend to you guys.

Be Good!

The game lets you play as yourself! Well, you get to name the character so it is the kind of thing where you can live through the game. Anyway, you are left alone and told to be good by your dad and the story of the game is all over the place. From trying to do a regular job, hooking up with all the hot chicks in the town, and even a little bit of organized crime!

The story in My New Life is all over the place and I know that it sounds like this would be a nightmare, but they pull it off. I say this because when you are on a questline, it is easy to know what you are doing and the fact that the next part of the story can be so radically different did keep me interested in what was going on.

Saved By The Bell

There is a high-school kind of setting in My New Life and as a result, much of the stuff you will be doing does relate to being in school. Going to class, doing various jobs to make a few extra bucks, and so on are done in the form of these repetitive mini-games. This is a nice touch, but they do repeat a tad too often as you do have to grind quite a bit. This is a lewd RPG and you will be going around talking to people, taking on missions, and trying to improve your relationship with the ladies. The first time you hook up with Alex for example, you only have one sex act that you can do. If you improve your chemistry with her, you get to do more stuff. The whole game has you always looking to improve what you can do with girls and I think this is a nice way to progress things.

Packing Some Serious Heat!

Our main character is a rather interesting-looking guy, he looks pretty normal until he gets naked and you see the size of that thing! The ladies too all have exaggerated bodies and it works and gives the game a style that is all of its own. I was very impressed with the animation that the game offered for the sex scene. The animation along with the interesting visuals make this one of the most visually appealing lewd games I have come across in a very long time.

The gameplay sections of the game are your typical top-down RPG style and they look great. They are of a very high-quality and the setting of the game actually feels like a real place. From walking past the soccer field and seeing people playing a game to people going around the school attending classes and living their life. There are a lot of little details that all add up to make this world feel real.

If you’re a fan of adult games, it doesn’t get better with My New Life. A quintessential game that contains all the classic tropes, triangles and promiscuous characters we have all come to love from these adventures. With My New Life: Revamp, the game is more solid than it has ever been. But this does not absolve it from its fair share of annoying bugs and errors. The game will still satisfy the wildest fantasies of players, so be ready to gasp for your breath in this steamy encounter. Created with RPGMaker, Revamp has been through many iterations with each version improving on the last.

Story

The game follows a young boy as he ventures into a new neighborhood and attends a new school. During his transition, he encounters a cast of characters, particularly women in his life that sport unique albeit promiscuous traits. As a guy, you must find your way around the peculiar scenarios. Will you handle them head on, or are you going to stall until you find the perfect chance to make your move? Its all up to you and the game avoids putting leashes on what you can do.

Be careful though, your neighbors have husbands, and they also have needs. If they are aware of any of your daring affairs, it might make for an interesting interaction. Keeping these women satisfied is no easy task either. Because they are all aware of you, it might be hard to make the right choices to satisfy their desires. Some characters are much harder to get than others. Thanks to the RPGMaker engine, you can explore different choices and paths with the help of online walkthroughs.

Gameplay

As a visual novel, My New Life: Revamp does not stray too far from conventions. But it does not get limited by this. The game’s characters are teeming with life, and most interactions do not always feel forced.

In Revamp, the main quest content is available in addition to new dates with more characters. The karma system has really been improved and you can earn good or bad karma as you progress. Cheat mods have also been added to give the casual players a quick run. Alternatively, it encourages more exploration for players that are into a completionist gameplay style.

Getting to know your classmates, neighbors and coworkers is a great way to learn how to get the right character interactions. You should also be aware of the characters closest to you like your stepmother and sisters in the house. They might require more effort to trigger new scenes though. Compared to other visual novels like S.H.E.L.T.E.R., Revamp doesn’t really have any intricate systems to keep gameplay compelling. Its karma system is like Manila Shaw: Blackmail’s Obsession but that game offers a lot more depth. With those shortcomings, it still manages to be its own thing, and its lack of any inherently unique features doesn’t make it a bad game.
