Bloody Passion

Today my good folks we are taking a look at Bloody Passion, which is a lewd game that I spent a few hours with over the weekend. It has the usual sandbox and visual novel tropes that you would expect, but it does what it does fairly well. I do not think that this is a game that is going to appear on many people’s game of the year list. However, while it lacked any kind of lasting impact, it was something that I enjoyed while I was playing it so I do think it could be worth your time checking out.

There’s A Knock At The Door!

The premise of Bloody Passion is one that I thought did have a lot of promise and was kind of fun. Our main character is not the most confident guy in the world and he has moved into this new place where he is going to continue his studies. However, the real thing he is learning about is love as there are some hot roommates (and a pretty hot landlady too) that he will get the chance to interact with. It is not the most remarkable story, but the love interests I felt were different enough to make me want to get to know them a bit better.

Things Just Keep Getting Better

Due to a mishap, I played about an hour of an older version of Bloody Passion by accident before I realized there was an updated one. I have to give the developer a ton of credit for how they have improved the character renders! There are some great looking ladies here, my favorite (her name is escaping me as I write this) is this one who is wearing a Captain America style getup. There is a good variety of sex scenes here and most kinks are catered for. I just liked how it was “normal” people hooking up and that there was no incest angle at all here, it made it much easier for me to get into the good stuff if you know what I am saying.

Going On Instinct

I wish that I could tell you Bloody Passion is offering some kind of unique gameplay element, but that is not really the case. I have a feeling that many people will get a “been there, seen that” kind of vibe from this game when they start playing it. Thankfully, the apartment is not too big of a place with a ton of areas so it does make clicking around and trying to be in the right place at the right time a tad easier. I also felt that the dialogue exchanges were pretty easy to figure out as well… even if the writing could be a little all over the place at times.

Pros:

• There are some good character renders here
• The Captain America looking chick is hot!
• The gameplay loop is very easy to figure out
• There are some excellent sex scenes here

Cons:

• The game is fundamentally fine, but it lacks any kind of wow factor
• While I was entertained, it was pretty much instantly forgettable
