Wicked Rouge Refine

I do have to warn you that Wicked Rouge Refine is the kind of game that demands a great deal of attention from the player. I would fully understand if someone took one look at this and said “nope”. There is a great deal to do and understand in this game so in that regard, it is not for everyone. However, if you love deep strategy management style RPGs and love lewd content, this game has both of these things!

Taking Over From Dear Old Dad

I get the feeling that they think they have this deep and interesting murder mystery type plot about your dad in Wicked Rouge Refine. However, I have to say that the main plot of the game did not really do anything for me if I am being honest. What I did like was that you are basically running a brothel and you are trying to make it as profitable as you can. You get bits of story here and there to move things along, but it is not all that interesting.

Making The Numbers Keep On Going Up!

There is a ton to do in this game and I am sure for some people it will seem way too daunting. Wicked Rouge Refine has many different styles of gameplay, what I liked best was the management of your brothel. There is a lot to keep an eye on here such as upgrading various things and hiring the right staff and making sure that they have things to do. If you like games where you have to grind out stats and just keep watching the numbers going up, you will find this a very rewarding experience.

But Wait! There Is More!

While the management aspect of Wicked Rouge Refine is a huge part of the game. We do also have some RPG elements here as well as a lot of visual novel style elements too. You will get to interact with the story at many different points and make what to me did feel like some pretty key decisions. You also have combat, now this is an RPG Maker game so the combat is about as deep as you would imagine. Still, I felt like it added a bit extra to the gameplay and it was pretty easy to figure out and a part of the game that I did find myself enjoying.

The Art Of The Ancients

The presentation of the game is something I liked a great deal. They have this kind of ancient Japanese style setting going on here and I love the way that it looks. Wicked Rouge Refine is a game that is very easy on the eyes and there is a solid number of female characters that you get to check out. Of course, as this is a game that is about running a brothel, there is a great deal of lewd content in this game and that is awesome! It is all done very well and there are some fantastic and very steamy sex scenes that are even animated!

Pros:

• The brothel management aspect of the game was very addictive
• While simple, combat is still a lot of fun
• The character renders in this game are fantastic
• There is a lot of lewd content here and the animation is very good

Cons:

• The learning curve here is very, very steep
• The grinding is sure to be off putting to some people
