Lovelorn Sanatorium 3

Lovelorn sanatorium 3 is one of the crazier lewd visual novels that you will ever play that is for sure. This game is a comedy/parody and it makes next to no sense, but that is actually part of the charm of the game. I found the whole thing just one bizarre trip that I was on and I just went along for the ride and had a smile on my face most of the time. I can see some people may be of the thinking that this is just too weird for its own good and I could certainly understand that. This is one for those of you that get a kick out of the weird and absurd!

What A Rough Situation

The translation in Lovelorn sanatorium 3 is super rough, but to be fair, I actually think that adds to the charm of things as it makes the story even crazier. Basically, what we have here is a guy that is really down on his luck as he has been stripped of his job and now, he is being cucked by his black son…. Yeah, this thing makes little to no sense and you just have to go with it. I will admit, I am unfamiliar with this series, but even if I was the translation may have still been an issue.

Playing For The Internet Crowd

A huge part of what I love about Lovelorn sanatorium 3 is the way that it is all about internet and meme culture. I got such a huge kick out of this and some of the stuff is just crazy, there is a scene with a dude getting off to a picture of LeBron James for goodness’ sake! If you are someone that loves internet memes and making fun of the stuff that you see online. You are going to get quite a few laughs out of this. I know that some may think that it is just too “out there” however, that is where I think the charm of the game comes from.

Puzzled By A Puzzle Game

The description of Lovelorn sanatorium 3 says that it is a puzzle game, but for me, it is not really a puzzle game, it is more of a lewd visual novel. The “puzzle” stuff is just picking what you need to say and do at the right time, that is why I feel it is in more of a visual novel category than a puzzle game one. It is fun stuff, easy to figure out and it does not overstay its welcome. You can beat this game in one sitting and that is a plus if you ask me as games like this can run the risk of overstaying their welcome.

Nothing Left To The Imagination

I think that the best thing Lovelorn sanatorium 3 has going for it is the visuals. This is a great looking game, it has a kind of Adult Swim look about it which I like. The game has a ton of fun lewd scenes. I think the animation here is great, but there is a very strange internal camera where the chick will be kind of translucent so we can see what is happening inside her. I am not a fan of this if I am being honest, but I can see why some people would be. I like the overall look of the game and the absurd humor really does shine thanks to the fun visuals.

• The getting cucked by your BBC son is hilarious
• This is a very fun and easy game to play through
• You will get a lot of laughs if you are into internet meme culture

• Some might not be able to get past how weird this is
• That weird camera effect is something I could do without
