No, MIST is not the classic PC adventure game from the 90s! This is a lewd adventure game and one that I really got invested in when I was playing it for this review. One of the most surprising things about this game is that while I loved it, as do many others. There are also those that straight up do not like it. This is a very divisive kind of game where those of us that liked it, really liked it and those who did not, hated it, there appears to be no middle ground here!

Creatures In The MIST

Hey, I have to draw parallels to the awesome Stephen King movie, The Mist when talking about MIST as there are some similarities. We live in an old mountain hut where we want to live a peaceful life. However, a strange and creepy mist starts to set in, and to make matters worse, monsters are in the mist! A girl ends up at your door and you end up saving her and getting with her. The thing is, more girls start to show up at your door! You need to survive and also get laid a whole bunch too. The story is actually very good and something I got very invested in.

Smooth Like Melted Butter

MIST is a great looking lewd game. It has very high production values and I love the way it all looks so creepy. The thing is, it also has some very attractive looking ladies as well. Best of all when it comes to the presentation is the sex scenes themselves. This game has some of the best and smoothest animations that you will ever come across in a lewd game. I am very impressed with the way the game looks and there is also some excellent variety to the chicks in this game as well.

Doing What You Can To Survive

I know that the gameplay loop of MIST is not anything radically new, but I still enjoyed it. You have to converse with the various girls you come across to get them more comfortable with you. You also need to move around and explore and this adds a bit of a puzzle/adventure game element to things. You also have to fight monsters! The combat is very simple and basically boils down to you hitting arrows, but it adds a bit of spice to the gameplay. You also have survival elements here too with time, stamina, health, and curse status being elements that you have to keep an eye on. Overall, I found the gameplay on offer here to be very well done, even more so when you pair it with the fantastic story.

As you can tell, MIST is a game that I had a lot of fun with. If you took out all of the lewdness from the story and just had a dude and some girls trying to survive, this could make a damn fine movie or TV show! The gameplay loop on offer here is also fun and I think there is more than enough variety to prevent you from getting bored quickly with the game. I am actually pretty shocked that there are some people who have a strong dislike for this game as I enjoyed it so much, I have played through it twice!
